But song lyrics have been slowly adding to the destruction of our society for decades. The fact that a bad idea sounds musically pleasing doesn't make it a good idea. Addictions, crime, promiscuity, divorces, revenge, telling lies, cursing, swearing, hating, making idols, taking lives before birth, and many other destructive behaviors have been spread and normalized for years through most of the things we consider entertaining. Be careful of the messages you let into your life. Some people need to know that there is scientific proof that God exists. Everything that you see around you, at some point was not there, right? And nothing appears by itself. It is scientifically impossible for anything to just start existing. Think about this for a moment: if there was ever a time in the past when there was absolutely nothing, wouldn’t there still be absolutely nothing? It is wise to admit that something or someone must have always existed and therefore caused the existence of everything else. That’s the meaning of eternal. The Bible says that God is eternal and He gives us eternal life when we are reconciled with Him through faith in Jesus Christ and repentance. Now, why should you believe the Bible? Here’s only one of the reasons. According to the Bible, there were about 4000 years between Adam and Jesus Christ, and there have been around 2000 years since Jesus died and rose from the dead. Feel free to look this up online or anywhere you prefer: no one has ever been able to prove and no one can prove that there was life on earth 7000 years ago. Some people have been able to explain it better than I can, so I will just cite one of the clearest presentations of the gospel I have ever read, published by Living Waters in the Million Dollar Bill: THE MILLION-DOLLAR QUESTION: Will you go to Heaven when you die? Have you lied, stolen, used God’s name in vain, or lusted (which Jesus said was adultery, Matthew 5:28)? If so, God sees you as a liar, thief, blasphemous, and adulterer at heart. If you die in your sins, you will end up in a terrible place called Hell. But there’s good news. Though we broke God’s Law, Jesus paid the fine by dying on the cross: “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Then Jesus rose from the dead and was seen by hundreds (it’s no fairytale). He fulfilled all the prophecies of the promised Savior. I'm officially old, I've seen all your videos, they're awesome. Born in 88, I really enjoyed the 60's and 70's era, but in this last decade popular music has no soul at all, it's all about $$$ and how much an "artist" can sell..... Clothes, shoes, perfumes, apps, games, skin care and a long etcetera, music has no place here.
The soccer goes the same way. There's no artists on the pitches, only the celebrities... 😕 Born in 1988 and old? You're still young girl! 🙂 Greets from an old man born in 1976 😀
@@pbd2849 I was born in 2002 and I didn't think I was old until I came across a comment here from someone born in 2010 who is nostalgic for the decade they were born in.
OK, so I'm a middle-aged dude that grew up with mostly 80s and 90s music and I don't see why there are so many complainers here? I don't think all these songs sound the same, and oddly enough, I know more of this decade than I do of the 2000s. There's enough individuality and great sounds here to enjoy. But also, why does this video start off with 2012?
They do sound similar and they are lousy with a few exceptions. Like the Gangnam Style is really an unforgettable hit of this Internet-based decade. But it is not just the music. Compare the diversity of outfits to a similar video from the 1990s. It is just a stunning comparison. Almost everybody in this video tries hard to look like an average person on the street. And the songs actually match this, too. We have lived in a decade of worshipping mediocrity, worshiping feces, worshiping lies. The diversity of the genres - much like the diversity of the thoughts - went to the cesspool relatively to the 1990s. You also get too many repeated names here and as far as I can say, all of them are average musicians. This includes Justin Bieber, Ed Sheehan, Rihanna, and many more. And yes, I would personally place Taylor Swift there, too. Add all the totally pointless rap songs that are ready to be thrown away after one playing. I think that people who deny that this is way worse than the 1990s or 1980s just deny the reality because they feel it is the politically correct way to act. All the DIE ideology etc. cannot produce the worst music, can it? Well, it surely has and with some thoughts, it was unavoidable.

Watching all from the 60's to now. It so sad how the music industry as sold its soul & got the musicians to do the same just to keep everything & one in control for $$$$ & their ideology. The 60's-70's, they were sill writing their own music & no auto tune & they had some real vocal skills, not who can out belt each other & have computer voice enhancements. You did more focusing on the story & the story teller, not all the lights & dancers & what ever else they can throw at you. I think it's nice that there are a few, very few artist that are going for that, but they most likely wont be in the billboard rating. I know it all has to do with algorithms & how to keep the $$$ train flowing while dumbing all the teens & kids down to just strip, party & do what ever they want. The Tax payer will fork the bill. I pray more people keep discovering Angelina Jordan, Diana Ankudinova, Laura Bretan, Dimash, Danella Tuleshova etc etc etc.Unless they corrupt them too. We'll see what happens this next decade.
If we compare with the 90's which was simply spectacular due to the number of super rock bands, boybands, divas, hits, awards, we can say that since 2010 the quality was catastrophic, with many social networks and likes, mega productions to keep at the top average and boring artists. We see rare exceptions that saved the decade like Bruno Mars, the only one of last decade who can be successful in any other, 60, 70, 80, 90, 2000...
I feel like since 2014 music has been pretty bad, but late 2020 and 2021 has still good music! Look at Dua Lipa's sound it's amazing. As well as 2021's biggest (so far) breakthrough artist Olivia Rodrigo! She is amazing!! So there is still hope for good music
@Cereza Bayonetta you might not like him, the music genre, but one thing you can't deny, he's an excellent singer and the live performances are always amazing.
What about 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973?, at this time were the best albums of The Beatles, jewel albums such as Siggy Stardust, The Dark Side Of The Moon and Led Zeppelin IV, jewels of the music of the 70's
Am I glad I grew up during the 80's and 90's...... I mean, there are some good songs among them, but I think they won't stand as long as many of the hits from the late 20th century. In 30 years, no one listen to these songs anymore, but still to Queen, Abba, Billy Joel, Michael Jackson, etc..
80s music was definitely very great, and I feel like radio stations should have nights where they only play 80s and 90s music (I think they do that with 90s), because the only 80s and 90s radio stations are listened by people who grew up during that time.
This moment when these songs make you aware of how quickly time has passed and how quickly you have grown up... just feels like yesterday when these were the new hits🤩🥺🥺🎊

You never hear something like that on the radio again:(
OK, so I'm a middle-aged dude that grew up with mostly 80s and 90s music and I don't see why there are so many complainers here?
Lady Gaga being relevant in the 10's and 20's... Only true legends.

The 60's to the 90's were the golden years of music. The 'quality' since then has steadily declined.

We see rare exceptions that saved the decade like Bruno Mars, the only one of last decade who can be successful in any other, 60, 70, 80, 90, 2000...
completely agreed , 00s were still good/great but 10s completely faceplanted

I feel like since 2014 music has been pretty bad, but late 2020 and 2021 has still good music! Look at Dua Lipa's sound it's amazing. As well as 2021's biggest (so far) breakthrough artist Olivia Rodrigo! She is amazing!! So there is still hope for good music

1975-1995 the best in terms of talents, creativity, sounds and innovations.

All these comments have me annoyed. People are just criticizing the 2010s decades music. And then y’all have the nerve to say things like “oh we had it good back then,” or “I feel bad for kids in this decade,” simply all because of the music. If you don’t like this decade’s music, then why in the world are you even here??? Also, people tend to say this music sounds the same when mainly it’s 40s and 50s music that sounds the same.
