I will miss Legendary Singer Mr. Gregory, because I started my singing career by hearing Gregory's and Gilbert's songs. They were and are my soul inspirations.

Asli hira was sung at Kirol competition by Gregory Dsouza from Vikhroli in 1970s . Before singing the song it was announced that he dont want any prize , its a tribute to his late friend Thomas Pereira. He won the First Prize for it , he refused to take it & left home.

(Pooja Menon) That's very humble and great on the part of Gregory. He himself being a good Composer and Singer, has named him ASLI HEERA. God Bless him and his family 🙏💖🌹

(Pooja Menon) I Thank Mr. Jude D'Souza for the information. We, the family of Thomas Pereira, were not aware of the fact that Gregory did not accept the Prize. That's indeed very humble act. Great 🥰❤️
