I don’t think they’re house hooks, because I’m pretty sure I’ve gotten them in a MonsterBass box too, but a 2 pack is pretty ridiculous! That to me is the only really bad part of this box. Hooks are cheap, so it shouldn’t cost that much to put 4 more in the pack.
@@ENCFishing I didn't mean Spearhooks they are a regular brand, if you can find them. I got some in May from MB in a box, 3 count. Not a bad hook but a little pricey. The thin hook can be used in my thin/narrow open pour bait which is nice. Basically the best thing of these hooks is that odd back curve of the hook, the shape, it tends to help keep the plastic from sliding down onto the shaft, like a standard hook. Always glad to get a pack from MB, impossible to find local. MTB has a house brand they stuff boxes with, as I recall, usually a 2 count that is not only cheap, but smelling like a sample pack, worse a non name hook.
@markraciborski4289 Sorry, I misunderstood what you meant. I’ve used MTBs house brand, and I haven’t had any issues with them. But I haven’t used them extensively, nor have I hooked anything over a couple pounds with them. I really wish none of the subscription boxes used any samples. It can’t be that much more to add the few extra hooks/lures, especially when the package size is the same.

A 2 pack of Spearpoint hooks? Gee, always thought a 2 pack of house hooks were cheap. You would think that would stop at some point.
