One of the best soundtracks of the fall of Xia Pi from the forces of Lu Bu by the alliance of the forces of Cao Cao/Liu bei, and that later does the same to Liu Bei, leaving the forces of Cao Cao with the entire territory of the Xia Pi region.
Zhang Liao's version of Xiapi is definitely the best one. Gathering all of your remaining generals to lead a final charge against Cao Cao feels more rewarding than chasing the 3 defectors or smashing the walls.
It just goes to show how much of a badass Zhang Liao is. He assembles everyone who stayed at Lu Bu's side ever since his forced withdrawal from Chang'an and prepares to engage Cao Cao's army along with the others. He even faces Guan Yu, Zhang Fei and Liu Bei singlehandedly while Gao Shun and the others assault Cao Cao's camp.
+ItoMadWorld Xun Yu was the one who advised Cao Cao to take control of the emperor, which effectively legitimized nearly all of Cao Cao's actions. He was also played a major role in defending Puyang when Lu Bu attacked Yanzhou. Man Chong only had more roles because he lived longer, but Xun Yu was really the more celebrated of the two because if Cao Cao never controlled Emperor Xian, he probably would lack a lot of the prestige that either prevented people from opposing him (Liu Cong) or allowed him to gain an army of such size. Also, Xun Yu played a major role in Guandu since he was responsible for keeping his lord from retreating. Man Chong's only major roles were at Hefei Castle and at Fan Castle. Although Man Chong helped a lot, his actions weren't as defining as Xun Yu. Also don't even try to have Man Chong stop what happened at Shiting, everyone should now at this point that Jia Kui was the one who was already giving Cao Xiu the warnings, so it's unfair to not give him the credit he deserves. As for potential characters, I feel like Sima Yan's too late in the game to actually do anything (given how we still don't have enough late Wu officers). The recent blast portraits make me curious about characters like Hu Lie for Jin. Sima Fu's also a consideration given his role in Hefei Castle and how he actually lived past the end of Wei. Pang Hui's possible, but he only really did something during the campaign against Shu. In Wei's department, given how Guo Jia and Xun Yu are here, I feel that it's a sin to keep out Cheng Yu at this point since the three were among Cao Cao's first strategists. Having Wei characters during Cao Pi or Cao Rui's reigns like Chen Tai or Sun Li wouldn't hurt either. Wu really lacks characters during Jin's story. "only Sima Yi was able to counter Zhuge Liang", Zhang He was feared, and Cao Zhen and Hao Zhao repelled Zhuge Liang as well, Sima Yi only lived long enough to actually have a rivalry. Also, saying Xun Yu shouldn't be with Wei is like saying Xiahou Ba should be affiliated with Shu instead since he did more as a Shu officer than as someone in later-Wei. As I've said, without Xun Yu, Wei would've never lasted. If Cao Cao didn't get the emperor, he wouldn't have as many legitimate claims for land. If Xun Yu or Cheng Yu weren't around at Yanzhou, Lu Bu would've taken the entire province, and Cao Cao would have no base at all. Pang Hui's only mention in history was during the campaign against Shu, and he everything after that wasn't mentioned at all. Stop focusing on Jin and give Wu some more light. I wonder...what happened to Lu Lingqi after cao cao let her get away?
Oh The Yuan is chasing her. Before The Cao and the Yuan fight at Baima and Yanjin
she was put to death by cao cao historically
Hmmm? Strange...I never heard that Verse...
***** well I guess they didn't put that in the game in order to not piss off every single fan
Well, historically Lu bu and Chen Gong's families were well protected by Cao cao afterwood.
This has vibes similar to Verge of Despair from DW4
I think this is way better. No disrespect to DW4 as the whole OST is still really great overall
Is this Yu Jin's theme?
Its actually second theme to Showdown at Xiapi after the flood attack happens
+JOevl45 and dingtao(historical)
Come Show Me What Ya Got!
Sorry but what is this guy name
***** The other 4 was Xu Huang, Zhang He, Yue Jin and last but never least Zhang Liao.
Too bad Wu didn't have 5 main generals like shu and wei.
williamhowe1 Wu still have Gan Ning.
But he is still only one epic general.
williamhowe1 I read somewhere that Wu also has a "Magnificent 5" or something, consisting Sun Jian, Cheng Pu, Huang Gai, Han Dang, and Zu Mao.

I don't care what anyone says. Zhang Liao carried the remnants of Lu Bu's army for this fight and did damn well. Cao Cao played them though.
My thoughts exactly. :)
Dejin Oda if only Sima Yi was there....... Oh the humanity
@@EpicvidsKetti08 Nope. The problem here was that, this time around Lu Bu wasn't at fault. They didn't have enough men to deal with the kind of strategy Cao Cao employed. Otherwise Cao Cao's strategy simply wouldn't work. You can even see it if you get enough of those hypothetical stars(Liu bei sends reinforcements to guard one castle and Yuan Shao crings reinforcements to protect the main camp. all they needed were more people to reinforce both castle's security. Because they didn't really do anything different in terms of strategy.
The main problem with Lu Bu's army is that he is too proud to add more troops to his own. Also, In order for his wishes to be fulfilled the way he wants Chen Gong wasn't enough. They needed more strategists to not overload the main strategist. So Chen Gong would be able to deal with problems that arise when one of his tactics fail. Which is what happened in this mission.
That's why Cao Cao didn't kill Zhang Liao, he knew He was the strongest link in Lu Bu's army.
@@Blackwolfninja89 no no. The main reason Zhang Liao was spared and join Cao Cao because he was reliable. Remember, just earlier, Cao Cao listened to Liu Bei's advice, executing Lu Bu, as Lu Bu betrayed too many people.
