if you're playing in a pc using ppsspp use a cheap usb controller if you're playing on a phone use a Bluetooth controller as for the layout i don't change the config on the main game i use default so you can purge your weapon's and lock box reset this is what i did since my left analog is drifting i put my movement control to the Dpad triangle & circle are the look up & down so i just put L2&R2 up og control is the change weapon so i put triangle down is blade/left arm weapon and action so Circle left dpad is OB/EO so L3 or Left Analog Trigger Right is Extension R3 or Right analog Trigger that's what i did as for dual wielding fire weapons i just change the circle to same as square.
Oooh, shinyy Well I'm definitely interested now. Especially hoping to see if the tanks and hoovers will get their speed and heat buffs that they really need to be halfway competitive..
The goal I'm moving for is to give tanks exceptionally high moving ability but poor boost performance, whereas hovers will have extremely high accel boosting and high braking (able to change direction rapidly) but will have slow normal movement. Both will slot in above/below traditional bipeds in terms of overall speed.
Having Acceleration actually be a worth while stat will actually make some of the lower powered boosters more appealing. Also is it possible to mod the game to run a real 60FPS?
It's possible, other PSP games have done it before (Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker) but since so many stats are dependent on the fps rate (heat, energy, drain, accel etc.) it would be a nightmare to code. I might look into it later after doing other, more obvious mods. It's my goal that all the boosters are viable, but represent different movement/combat styles.
Patching a game that nerfs a lot of stuff, this is what we needed.
