Also There Is an easy way to find a rare larva's if you got an issue finding them: build a Foundation Grid, on top build a Auto-Crafter, it got is own small radar inside to find stuff around him and that will also show you the larva's spawn around him included the rare one.
I can confirm that Alben larva do spawn on the balcony, my first and only one, so far. As for Futura, I was able to find 2 within 20 minutes of wandering around the mushroom kingdom. I also found a Fiorente randomly while doing the Warden Key quests. Edit: Just now found another Alben, this time at the abandoned base in the wastelands.
I'm such a noob, I just planted my first tree seed spreaders and wondering how to start finding insects. I'll come back here after figuring out when (terraforming limit) I can start finding larva. Nice platform and forest, seriously, you just raised the bar about 54 stories.
As always everything was useful. I might not have seen, but have you done a breakdown of each building, equipment and/or tools as you did for Subnautica.
Omg I was looking up at the sky thinking that there was about to be a meter shower and saw that there wasn't and looked down and right at my feet was a Butterfly Nere Llarva! No joke I couldn't believe it!
You have to stand still for +- a minute for them to start spawning. If you fly with the jet pack you are too fast and they don't have time to spawn. I had the same issue before I figured it out. Hope this help
I was literally at the spot in your video saying how long it took you, i turned around and found 2 Futuras next to eachother😂 took 10 minute, first trip. I need to buy a lottery ticket lmao
Awesome Content! 🎉 I have a Planet Crafter challenge for you: Start a new game. No Mods please. Complete Blue Sky in one life WITHOUT opening any blue standard size crates. All golden and small blue containers are available to open at your convenience. I would have gave the goal to completely terraform, but that wouldn’t make for an entertaining video. Do you accept my challenge? Thank you so much for caring & sharing! ❤
Thanks for the suggestion, but Planet Crafter is one game I cannot go back to playing unmodded. There are too many improvements that make the game more enjoyable with mods that it would be significantly less enjoyable playing without mods. And technically I've already done this challenge when the game was still very new and mods were not available yet. Back when the Blue Sky stage was the only thing you could get.

Was lucky with the Futura, i was checking under water. Found the golden one, right away in the lost paradise
In Paradise City area, past the three-key door, a blue glowing worm gives 1200% (Butterfly Serena Larva)

found this tip on the internet: "first slot fertilizer second slot mutagen third slot larvae you'll get a bee every time"
For anyone who sees this comment, this is incorrect and does not make a bee every time
@@crustader3755 dude, it was over 1 year ago. They changed in a patch that you got seperatre recipe for bee larve.
@@crustader3755 😂👍🏾✊🏾
Not sure if I am too far progressed coz larva have completely stopped spawning ever since I crafted the silk generator thingy.

Same situation for me, and it turns out to be a bug. The larva began to spawn after I restart the game.
thanks for the platform trick. My Base seems to konfuse the spawning system

Does the bridge need to be THAT high? lol Or can it be right on the ground?
Thanks, that helped.
I've found 4 Alben larva in the iridium mine, and nowhere else on this particular save.
I had no idea it was RNG. I guess I'm really lucky that I only got bee larvae.
what stage do you have to be at for the larvae to spawn?
You need to reach the Insects stage of the game.
@@MrSpicyGaming is that on the same panel where the rain and moss things are?
Thank you.
THank you so much

I know this isn't related to this video but below zero just got its What the dock update.
I saw they had released that.
can you not automate this ? like do you have to go find manually normal larvae ?
Futura larva was easiest for me. Just fly few meters, land, wait like 10 sec and look around.
Then you are very lucky because even with the mod I only found 1 Futura in 3 trips.
There is a golden larva 1500% insect multiplier lol
The Golden Larvae were added with the Lore & Automation update which came out a month after this video was posted.
