- 8 नवंबर 2016 को जब नोटबंदी हुई थी तो बतौर प्रधानमंत्री किसी को पता नहीं था. सबको एक ही बार रात आठ बजे टीवी से पता चला था. लेकिन नोटबंदी फिर से हो सकती है इसका पता सबको चल चुका है और वो भी टीवी से. नीति आयोग के चेयरमैन प्रधानमंत्री होते हैं और उपाध्यक्ष होते हैं राजीव कुमार. राजीव कुमार ने श्रीनिवासन जैन से कहा है कि अर्थव्यवस्था की सफाई के लिए वे किसी भी दिन नोटबंदी करना चाहेंगे ताकि ये औपचारिक हो सके. टैक्स भरने की आदत में सुधार हो.

Mandatory income tax return was ordered to all govt. Employee (state/ central) borth regular and contractual employee, if he was getting above 250000/- or below salary per annum ... this is the main reason behind the increase of income tax return... Because before 2015-16 session income tax return was not mandatory for all employees those who are not getting salary not more than 250000/- . So it is not because of demonisation ,rather it is due to strict govt. Order for filling the income tax return.
