Funny it's usually you inspiring me ...haha. I'm thinking of doing a 10000km offroad trip now. The trip was actually 20k......2 rear tyres. Cheers 4 watching sir. and thank you for your condolences but hopefully it's moved on to a place of endless burn outs
Perreli lol.....i bought a zx600e ninja ( wrecked) that i made a street fighter ( cliche lol) but the ims and tires that came with it were Perreli diablo ( racing slicks) with only little divots in the center to judge the wear .......that was 4 years ago and I'm thinking about changing them this year because my divots have become flat and the sides are weather cracking.....however I've did so MANY burnouts and powerslides on em it's really unbelievable lol.....not to mention the bike has remained outside and in the weather of Pennsylvania the last three years lol.....damn good tires in MY book
yeah the life of a back tyre is not always glorious but this one had a good life i think.... Those plugs work well even for an amateur , never had an issue with losing air at all. Cheers 4 watching sir
That tyre took you some very beautiful places. 11100 km in 20 days impressive. A great way to say goodbye. Better to burn out than fade away. Enjoyable video Tex.
I would be impressed if you did that distance on a GS but you did it on an R1?! you are made of tougher stuff than me that's for sure, still buying angel GTs or are you using different tyres these days?
Thanks for the complement but i feel like the R1 fits me well, i'd probably just fall asleep on a GS haha. I'm running a bridgestone battlax S21f and a T30r , the t30r is very similar to the gt. I generally stick to pirelli and bridgestone as they give me the best felling. Cheers 4 watching sir.
I think it had a meaningful life and hopefully it's legacy will live on through this video. Cheers 4 watching sir, i know this is not your type of video ( boring music riding video)haha.
@@JustTex Thank You! I bought for my son Pirelli Angel Scooter tires. And Your video help me to choose also.Safety is on the first place! Have a nice day!
Oh i'm sorry , you could have stopped watching way earlier considering i only showed the tyre 3 times before the burnout. But I'll give you your money back. Cheers 4 watching.
@@JustTex Yep, they're like cockroaches here; f'kn everywhere! Cool vid - different & enjoyable. Brought back sweet memories of riding cross country to the MotoGP. Only found it cos I'm just off to get new shoes on my Nuda. Ride safe sir.
The tyre had plenty left pffft... So you could of got at least another 500ks at least out that tyre. But decided to Trash it....WHIVH DOES MOT SURE (TRUE) USAGE of the Pirelli tyre.....Pointless showing kilometres covered on Video if not a REAL SAGE COMPARISON!
Not sure what your trying to say-.WHIVH DOES MOT SURE (TRUE) USAGE ,REAL SAGE COMPARISON! I could have got another few thousand kms out of it if i was riding in circles....This is not a review or comparison it is merely a video of where MY pirelli angel GT went..
such a beautiful clip.. extremely motivating and relaxing..
Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed it. Cheers 4 watching.
Wow, it did well!! Definitely went out in a blaze of glory too!
haha i was a few kms from home so i had to stop . Cheers 4 watching sir
Cheers man. This is incredibly motivating - Now I have to get a bigger touring bike and go on an 11,000km road trip!
And yes... condolences for your loss :(

Sounds good , not sure you will get that life from an angel gt but worth a try. Cheers 4 watching sir.
bloody cool idea!!! and wow that plug stayed in there for ever!

Just Tex what plugs? Thanks
Sorry i never saw this comment but the plug was just the standard bike shop tyre repair plug , cheap but works well. Cheers 4 watching.

i agree too. I'm pretty sure NZ has some amazing views too. Cheers 4 watching both of you
Awesome ride around the country, That burnout was gold...lol RSM8
It was a good time. The burnout always feel so much more epic when doing it hahaha. Cheers 4 watching sir

Great comment sir. The tyre before this one went 9000kms in 10 days haha. "Better to burn out then fade away' so true.
Cheers 4 watching sir

Love the mUsic!!
It's some youtube music but it works ok with this footage, Cheers 4 watching.
can't believe that fkn r1 is still destroying tyres :P
haha this thing will last forever!! Cheers 4 watching sir
5800 km on my S1000XR👎🏻... next tire will be rosso corsa 2
bummer, i would expect more grip from the corsa 2 but way less kms . good luck and cheers 4 watching sir.
I WAS THERE FOR THE BIRTH OF THIS TYRE!
....and i still have the old one....
and the death of the last tyre......oh it's still kickin! Cheers 4 watching sir
Ashes to ashes, smoke to smoke! Now that's how you chronicle the life (and demise) of a rear tire. LOL.
I think it had a meaningful life and hopefully it's legacy will live on through this video. Cheers 4 watching sir, i know this is not your type of video ( boring music riding video)haha.
:-)
Nice video, beautiful places 👍👍
Thanks, indeed some nice views. Cheers 4 watching
7 months... well done sir 👍🏼
It was really done in 1 months but didn't get much riding after that. Cheers 4 watching sir
These tires was good in the rain?
Yeah never had any issue with them wet or dry. Cheers 4 watching

Cool idea for a video. Nice job.
Thank you, Cheers 4 watching sir
Very nice. It had to be hard to pick the video footage. Very nice.
Thank you and it was very difficult to decide on just a few seconds out of so much footage. Cheers 4 watching.
Why dont you show thet tyre condition before you make burn out? Wasting my 4.57 minutes..sigh
Oh i'm sorry , you could have stopped watching way earlier considering i only showed the tyre 3 times before the burnout. But I'll give you your money back. Cheers 4 watching.
aint no bogan like a west aussie bogan

I only got 5210 kms on mine
Wow you must be hard on the throttle , which would make for a fun 5210kms. Cheers 4 watching.
10347.4 miles im impressed
Nice one Tex. I have the same.
you probably get way less kms out of yours though haha. Cheers 4 watching sir
Some audio feed back from you would double the enjoyment of this vlog.
Not sure what feedback you think would make this better, but i think it would distract from the scenery.
Cheers 4 watching.
I hate vlogs
11k.... you need to use more throttle ;)
haha I need no speed limits too.....and i think 2 rear tyres per road trip is all i can afford..... Cheers 4 watching sir
