I am Bong, Founder and CEO of TransFORMe, a business consultancy service that uses the generative power of Tranformational Leadership that creates breakthrough possibilities for individuals and companies. I am the author of CraZYx Thinking: 8 Secrets of Highly Repetitive Breakthroughs.
I teach Marketing Management, Digital Marketing and Brand Management.
After completing my MBA with AGSB in 1994, I started teaching Marketing Management part-time at the Ateneo Loyola campus. Since my full time day jobs were in Makati, I moved to AGSB in 1997 and continued teaching at night while being fully employed during the day. This 2024 marks my 30th year of part-time teaching at the Ateneo. I just started my 100th class.
Supported by a scholarship from the AGSB, I am currently pursuing my PhD in OD and Planning at SAIDI. At the same time, I am on track to becoming the first Asian coach certified to facilitate the Advanced Program of Transformational Leadership at the SLS Trainer Academy, a global transformation company with operations in 15 countries, across 4 continents.
My 35 year professional career includes COO , GM and senior management roles in multibillion peso companies such as Ace Hardware, Citistores, Moldex, Waltermart, Philips, Cocochem, Seaoil, Fil-Estate and UNILEVER.
Aside from 30 years of facilitating courses in the various campuses of the Ateneo, I have also coached Digital Marketing classes at the UP Virata School of Business and Marketing Management at DLSU. I was also adjunct faculty at the Kenosha College in Wisconsin, USA 2008 to 2009.
My academic background includes MBA from AGSB, Post graduate diplomas in Digital Marketing (AGSB-CCE) and Marketing Communications (DLSU), Chemical and Mechanical engineering degrees (UP) and specialized programs in Entrepreneurial Marketing, Marketing Strategy and Management Development (AIM). My certifications include CDM (Certified Digital Marketer) since 2011 and CLDP (Certified Learning and Development Professional) since 2023.
