i love the creatures and i used to play it but i quit when it became a grinding/pay to win game edit: thanks to youtube for not deleting my reply and thanks to creator for the heart
i honestly dont even understand how people play games like cos in public servers AT ALL. I personally love survival games, but every single survival game on roblox is just full of kosers, like Wild Savannah or every dino game i've seen. I've never found a single server in a game where people are forming herbi herds and trying to survive against small carni packs while migrating and trying to defent their offspring (i'd love to play like this), but when i get on i only find kids killing eachother in massive spawn carcass piles while throwing random insults in the chat. I dont see how is this enjoyable. I would rather get in a private server and pretent im a lonely little creature in a vast empty world doing nothing than get in a public server and get sent back to menu instantly upon spawning in the map. I want to PLAY.
To be fair, wild savanna kosing usually happens whenever you stay in the same place all the time. It’s a horrible surviving strategy that ends in death but it’s pretty damn funny to watch wars between lions, gifs, hyenas and buffs go down. 😂
Yes, same here, and it sucks when you need to grow something to get rewards, but you can't because of the KO problems. I want to play a survival game, not a PVP arena beat-up.
Im mostly a healer I normaly play as a Moonella, though One time I was trying to play and I kept getting kos bye somebody, they literally hunted me down continuesly to kill me no matter what creature I played and after the 8th time being targeted by Them I Anklebit for the first time in my gameplay and continued to hunt them down instead anklebiting them till they left the server. Call me whatever you want but i haven't anklebit since XD And the next time somebody targets me like that again I'll do it again, no regrets. And eye for an eye, an annoyance for an annoyance.
Got camped at spawned, chased, and killed after leaving for a short break. The players made the excuse that the invincibility frames exist so that I could get away, and spammed skill issue for it, intentionally boiling my crust. That was the last time I played this game.
i tried to get the firakai from the recent fireworks part 2, i worked for literal hours on a specific creature to make progress.. then someone with a trex looking creature (forgot what it’s called but it’s really strong) killed me. the only people who seem to use those types of creatures are kosers honestly and.. i kinda vowed to never play again.. im willing to keep that promise because kosers and stuff make my blood boil
Everyone watching this, do not target someone then Kos them on this game. It’s not fun, it ruins their experience, and then people will start pointing fingers and get you banned, or permanently banned from CoS. *idk, I’ve never done it, and neither should you*

Ngl a flier and anything above tier 3 attacking you as a tier four just means they're trying to kill you. A ankle biter would be below tier 3 often a land creature like mina and just aim to annoy other than that great video
Things I hate in CoS: Screen freezing (my cell phone is a piece of s-) Players that kill me when I start with a large/medium baby creature Mothers who kill me for no reason when I go to hatch in a nest Cell phone dying due to freezing-(Yes, it's not the game. I want to format my cell phone) Big creatures trying to kill me when I say "Hi" Getting kicked out of a group for no reason(This happened to me once)
This is what I mean when I say I hate Kosing...because ultimately they all end up in death or dying. I hate that in COS Kosing is such a light subject. People forget basic manners and rules when they get behind a screen and a playable character. All these methods are not cool and isn't true PVP more like PTP (Player Trick Player). True survival is about defending offspring, territory, and killing to eat. There are very rare occasions where wild life kill for the fun of it. Hyenas may snatch a lion cub but still ultimately eat it. Then they use the corny excuse of it being survival. But in wild life those methods aren't used. The only one that may come close is the "cowering to kill" sometimes animals will crouch but only to pounce on prey, not to show submissive behavior. Ankle bitting doesn't actually happen in wild life unless it's a flea or a mosquito 😂. Or unless the small creature is backed into a corner. Imagine a fox ankle bitting an entire elephant, like even lions don't take elephants as a joke. The spam killing is literally against game rules and is crule and just hateful. I'm glad I'm not the only one who experienced this because I swear I never get it on camera when it happens to me!😂
this is not a realistic survival game, so of course these shitty wildlife "tactics" people call it wont apply, its just people doing their own thing atp, when i run into these players i just leave into another server, aint dealing with that lol

Nature may be tough but it ain't evil- Humans put their own messed up and twisted ideas into these playable creatures and make it hard to play. I mean the whole situation with wildcraft and "wild heaters" is proof right there. (Don't look it up it's-messed up) And if it isn't so realistic then they shouldn't be mad when someone revenge kills them, or they shouldn't be mad when someone gangs up on them, or snitches on them in the chat. There is a lot of hypocrisy going on that makes it sad. Imagine server hopping over 7 times and you just keep running into these people. The issue is behavior and thinking, if everyone or at least 85% of the players think this behavior is okay, then your going to run into them regardless of how many servers you hop! If the devs or someone with higher power would address this behavior, or if people would be respectable and remember rules (and actually get punished when they break them), and or how they'd feel if they were treated the same way...then maybe it wouldn't be so bad. Or at the very least the devs make the map bigger with more hiding spots. I missed the old map because regardless of what size creature you were there were some great hiding spots. I don't mean to sound like a softy, trust me I know how hard nature can be, I live on a farm and raise both rabbits and chickens. I watched plenty of times the rough pattern of nature, but this is downright humans...I don't even think these creatures would behave that way, I mean we literally get a description of creature behavior soo-
@@michurisukira oh god i remember wildcraft, the amount of heaters on there is insane, i've had my fair share of targetters, now there has been a sudden spike in KOS guilds (I'm sure you can imagine what's gonna happen in servers if you "get them mad.") they really need to address the targeting because its NOT FAIR and of course these creatures wouldn't behave this way (i've seen people do realistic rps as creatures matching their description, kudos to them)
I honestly just hate CoS. Until they add rules like no KOS(only kill when hungry) and being forced into body-sitting once you kill something, the game will continue to suck. The game sucks because the devs keep popping out bigger and stronger pay-to-win monsters. They need to focus on balancing the game rather than adding more and more bigger and stronger creatures. Best way to get the devs to listen is to just not play the game, as well as all the reasons the poster listed in the video.
Well to put it simply @Whatthefudgecookie, Creatures of Sonaria is a survival game consisting of various creatures so naturally a core gameplay mechanic is the combat, without the combat it is not a survival game. Because of this, the developers implementing rules such as, only kill when you are hungry, would be uninsightful on the owner's behalf. You also stated that you need to "body-sit" after killing someone; that is not true. The reason being the players ability to pick up food implying that they could simply just take it with them. To further build upon this someone could rather easily leave the food with no consequences. On top of that you unknowingly think the stronger creatures within the game are "pay to win," this is also not true because the meaning of pay to win is something with the ability to be accessed within a game easier or quicker than others using real-world currency. With an example in the game, we can see that they are not pay to win; the creatures in the game can be obtained through trading or purchasing with "mush." Mush itself is not a real-world currency. Even if these were actually problems within the game, simply "boycotting" would not do much as many players would either stay anyway or the developers would not notice or just decide not to change the game as they own it after all. In conclusion it is indeed your choice if you wish to leave or not, but you have no reason to complain about nonexistent problems.
Removing kosing entirely is stupid and unrealistic. A lion will kill a hyena or two if the chance arrives and carnivores will surplus kill. Cos players just need to become smarter tbh.
Fun fact: creatures with long neck that can rotate their heads backwards and hit the ankle biter behind you(i found out after using the /hitbox command)
I understand kosing and all that stuff, but purposefully killing a baby is crazy. They don’t even have much meat. Also, I don’t understand why people kill healers or people that are like “here take this carcass, I don’t need it”, or people that help them. One time I gave a 270 carcass to a Kohikii as a baby Arachyu and it killed me when I put it down.. It already had two other carcasses to begin with. -_-
And then people wanna say that I’m just mad I died or whatever. No one in servers like this understand what I’m talking about whenever I explain stuff like this :/ .

I don’t think most people really understand that Cos isn’t really about survival- it’s a collecting game. You buy the best creature in the game and kos other players because your stronger, not because your surviving. Because let’s face it, majority of survival games don’t put meat on a silver platter so everyone can eat when they want. That literally defeats the purpose of killing to live.
All are fairly relatable but you can avoid these situations with a little experience of your own. Never trust those who can kill you, if you’re being picked on, come back with something stronger. That sorta thing.
I only did that once because this person was quite clearly only killing weak and baby people, you know people that wanna grow a little bit first idk, i just changed into a konomushi and a verklixzin (?) and killed them, i was so tired of it trying to kill me too, it didn't do much damage to those creatures that's why i used them. people gotta relax that's not always funny

I have this friend that spawns kill and kos even when he has plenty of food or is just a herbivore lol, he unfriended me bc I “kosed” one of his friends.. kinda disappointed and funny how his reaction is though lol, he just fills the chat with him whining about being kosed when he koses all the time. As someone who is guilty of kosing occasionally , I will say it’s very annoying when players see someone upset (reasonably upset, that is. Someone players overreact) about dying and tell them “it’s a survival game 🤓” like, my brother in Christ, how am I supposed to survive when every odd is stacked against me? At what point do we draw the line between “survival” and ‘how good are you at not dying to a creature with stats 3 times better than your own?’ It’s honestly insane. It isn’t even about survival, it’s just about abuse of power. It’s upsetting because COS is a unique game with unique creatures, and so its saddening to see it continuously go down such a 💩hole.

I never understand why people even attack babies not for food, but for fun. It don't even count towards death points. Besides imo babies are too easy and aren't even a challenge, making it not fun at all. I'm not a huge koser but when I do kos I only go after adults because I like to challenge myself. If someone like that cux keeps killing me that's when I either just switch servers or bring out my pliarys and hope that it wants to come and attack my pliarys (:< A lot of people like to underestimate pliarys
They should just add so that if a creature is at max hunger then it gets a effect that if IT attacks something FIRST then it will do less dmg and get slower and seem sloppier… like when you eat too much food.. and plus, it should only be for carnivores and omnivores (if the omnivores last meals was meat) and photocarnis. Kosing would be solved a bit with this but only the carnivore side of it, for the herbivores it would be good if their stats were made in a defensive way or run-away way, some are already like that but it would be good if all of them were like that. So if they are defensive way then it would be hard to start an attack and with a run-away way then they are fast but can’t really do dmg to be able to kos creatures of the same tier or above. I know this will never happen but I need to keep dreaming.

But animals in the wild dont kill for fun they only kill when they need food or for protection. If people kos then isnt it kinda realistic? Because animals dont just sit around and jump anything that goes in that area. They isnt such a thing as species mixing. (Except for like..birds helping rhinos or hippos spot danger..and capybaras just chilling-tho they still can and have been killed) so sitting in one area where theres many other species really just ask to get kosed kinda? Animals in the wild? This game is not JUST like the wild or JUST roleplay, it says "SURVIVE kajiu animals" in the title, and some creatures in their descriptions have "Is not afraid to hunt for sport" so the devs are fine with it. It's not realistic anyway it's a creature game with fantasy.
The worst thing about ankle biting is the fact that logically, it just doesn’t make sense. The low range and hitbox is so annoying, and the fact that fliers don’t fall down after literally running into some massive creature is absurd. Sonar studios honestly just sucks, I used to play DA, COS, and HL within the first few weeks of them being released, just for the games to become p2w, grind, and insanely toxic

I was trying to grow a crab. Was targeted by a group/pack of over 8 Galektrons and they started to make fun of me for not being able to survive 8 FULLY GROWN Galektrons as a NEWLY SPAWNED IN CRAB. I told them they were acting childish and then they started calling ME the child after they called me names, harassed me, and then proceeded to ask me for my AGE. I kept telling them no to ALL of these questions because most were personal and I was told I was being childish. I ended up leaving after that.
Everyone else in the server then proceeded to side with THEM after I was targeted and harassed. They all reported me. THE ENTIRE SERVER. I never got banned or a warning and I’ve never seen them ever again. I tried to look up their users, nothing. I’m guessing they were all terminated. They have probably done stuff like this multiple times.
This reminds me of when the same Jeff killed 2 of my strongest creatures (one was a coni and I forgot the other) while anklebiting bc it killed me in just a few bites bc it’d keep jumping up in the air and then latch on me and bite and then jump back up and repeat till I died 💀💀 I could not bite it a single time either
I really dislike when someone Targets a certain creature just because they hate the creature! And killing baby creatures as an adult is pretty pathetic they can't even defend themselves unless they attack first they should have a chance to grow in peace
not the exact same situation but similar. a few weeks ago i spawned in as my elder cald and crossed over to desert from the flower cove bridge. i was heading to the mesa pond but as i passed oasis an eskarlor and an oluata started attacking me. i killed the eskar easily but because my framerate was low my turnrate was awful, so i couldnt kill the olu and i couldnt menu because they kept biting me. then, a taka and a venu came along, but they attacked one at a time so they both died. Then a kavo came almost immediately after before i could heal. I just about survived but then a golga arrived when i was extremely low and i had to log… I didnt lose much because it was full elder but it was a really horrible and nasty experience and kind of ruined my motivation to play the game. sorry for posting this whole paragraph!!! it seemed like the right place to share this. the cos community is getting more and more toxic.

I always have a 'kill once' rule. Where if i kos someone and I see them respawn later I wont kill them again. Sometimes ill land by them for the lols cus i like to see them run away scared but ill never kill them (that is of course, unless the person who respawns deserves it, like if they go off to ankle bite other people).
Hehehe I’m gonna tell a story that happened to me yesterdayyyy I was an archalium chillin in oasis (tm) and some small shiaryo or smthn like that came and anklebit me, I did flips and stuff but eventually they just kept chewing me to central and HOLY SSHS THATS ANNOYING so I log and join again as archalium, the Shi finds me again and anklebiter me until I log again, then a THIRD TIME I JOIN AND IT COMES AFTER ME, I LOG, and then I go back to oasis and get killed by an umbra in the lake, then I spawn as Iri, GET ANKLEBIT BY THE SHI AGAIN, AND ALSO DIE BY THE UMBRA EVEN THOUGH I LOGGED. I cried from that, because that server killed all three of my favourite slots :/ I had to take a break for a bit :/ Anywho, this is so real

@@ooblthebloobl But the game doesn’t have rules, does it? Except hacking. It’s a game you get to do whatever you want in, therefore you’re allowed to kos, so again, if you can’t handle that, the game was never for you in the first place.

i think better movement would help to solve anklebiting. the main reason anklebiters are invincible essentially is because big creatures take So Got Dam Long to move anywhere, so like- just improve movement ! having neck movement actually mean something would be great. even better if some sort of claw-usage was possible for lower things
My biggest issue is revenge killers, it makes no sense for people to freak out and attempt to revenge kill just because their tier 3 that takes maybe 30 minutes to grow died so someone could eat. Literally the most toxic person I've ever met on the game was a revenge killer upset over their anklebiter baby sochuri dying. Second issue for me is the lack of space dedicated for smaller, weaker tiered creatures. This map lacks a lot of tighter areas dedicated for small critters to thrive in. You are much more forced to play bigger or be stranded in the open for any predator to see. The gap between weak and strong is so much larger than it ever used to be when I originally begun playing (early beta test). I don't care much about anklebiters since it's mostly just funny and they usually go away if you ignore them. KOS is definitely obnoxious but it's part of the game, so I don't really mind it. I just spawn in as something bigger or change servers if it's that big of a problem. If something I love gets killed, I can just regrow them, I don't mind it. Gives me something to work towards again. My real biggest issue in all reality is how grossly sexual the community is, I swear I can't go a single day without seeing people talking about blowing each other, impregnating each other or even directly talking about touching kids. . It's disgusting and I do report each of them, I don't care how much of a joke it is or if they lose their precious rare species by getting banned. I know this is an issue with Roblox and the brainrot of today's teens in general, but it doesn't excuse the fact little kids are being exposed to this in a rated 9+ game.

@@CoSdumMiEs Exactly. Something I find a lot of frustration in is how the moderation is handled in this game in general. I used to moderate for the game Town on roblox (free build + pvp, very chaotic). Moderators were expected to patrol the game (play) and ban those breaking the very clear rules for however many days our guidelines had. Our harshest bans that came so easily and so fast were the ones related to people being sexual, we did not go light. Some of these bans even being permanent due to how disgusting people were being. Sexual players on CoS is FAR more common and more detailed and disgusting than people typically got on a free-building game with an older player base (13+ game typically ranging from 15 to early 20s). They need to be taking action against these people and remove them before children get hurt.
I do the 2nd one (if I'm a bigger and slower creature) so I can get close to creatures and kill them. appearing friendly is one of the best methods for kosing, and is pretty efficient when I can't outrun them. Something similar. I might invite them to a pack to gain their trust (for the same reason, or if I'm a slightly weaker creature,) and say when they sit or lay down next to me, I leave the pack and kill them. it's also useful for large packs with easy to kill members, I might use a Kavouradis and pose as some sort of protector. in which most of the pack would stay near me for protection, and when they're all bunched up, I would leave the pack and kill them all. it's one of the main reasons i was able to get 600 kills on my Kavo in around a month, and stocked up about 5 death tokens on it within similar time.
Fr it's so annoying they need to add survival only servers. (Ones where you can grow and actually survive in the game. No kosing, killing only for food or self defense.)
One thing I have been complaining about is how expensive the private servers are, I find playing in it more enjoyable than public since I can grind easier so no kosers get me, though it's rough spending 500 robux every month plus dealing with people begging me to add them only to use my private server which gets tiring after 3 months. Overall it just isn't worth it. I wish they either lowered it to only like 150 robux for the lesst or just give us no problems and make it free, why is griffen destinys private servers free but cos and their other games isn't? I don't think it's fair if I'm being honest to the rest of their community

Kosing is optional and entirely allowed.. encouraged, even. Although it can be annoying, its what makes the game lively, and we always have the option to server hop if it’s ruining our experience. Imagine how boring the game would be if everyone just.. sat there. It’s a combat game, hence the point of the combat system, not a roleplay game. If we weren’t meant to fight, creatures wouldn’t have abilities or damage to PvP one another at all. Yes its meant for hunting as well, but fighting is encouraged by developers as it is titled as a survival fighting game. They even keep count of your PvP kills in stats, which wouldn’t be a feature if everyone only killed to hunt since there would be very little and not much purpose in keeping count. So there’s not really a need for complaint. Just server hop. And if you want to grow without interruption and can’t afford a private server, just choose a small server on the server list. For those who say ‘well animals dont do this in the wild’.. Well, we AREN’T animals in the wild and we aren’t meant to abide by those rules obviously, because it’s a GAME, not reality. In a GAME you can do what you want. You die, learn, gain skill and get better. If ya’ll don’t like it, maybe this isn’t the game for you. What isn’t fine is that when people get toxic and argue over it. That goes for both kosers and kos victims. It’s all part of the game, whatever happens happens, just have fun. Revenge kill or restart, I don’t get why people get so personally pressed. It’s literally part of the game.

@@Coffeii its pretty hard to not worry about literal hours worth of progress being wasted when youre repeatedly murked as a juvi of just about any species by full-grown creatures that are more than overkill most of the time. you dont get to BE an adult to defend yourself *unless you get a token for it*. you can say that my point is invalid because 'thats just what players signed up for', but frankly, it really isnt? the appeal to new players was always the cool creature designs, not the middling pvp aspect that people just have to get used to if they really wanna play the game for even five minutes a day. your second 'point', if it can even be called that since its just "skill issue + quit whining", holds no ground either because the problem still stands. if you fight someone attacking you, chances are youre getting killed because most kosers are using overpowered grinded-out or pay to win creatures. if you run, youre killed because theyll just chase you (and often in groups too, so faster creatures will finish you off anyways). you can server hop, but then you face the same problem in every other server, and now the koser gets the satisfaction of knowing they made you miserable enough to leave.
you can also try to make the argument that we just suck, but the reality is the combat is literally just spam clicking and hoping you have more damage. the only skill based part is trying to accommodate for the bad turning system, and the hitboxes are often way too finicky to kill someone who latched onto the back end of your model. thats the devs fault, not ours. so youre basically basically just telling us to leave the game for good, and good for you, most of us do because we wont waste our time on this meat measuring contest of a game. i know i did because i didnt feel like making such a hostile game the focus of my life, where it would suck my joy and time away like a leech. plus, if that was the case, im pretty sure most people wouldnt sit in the oasis doing jack diddly shit except talk for most of their time when theyre not fighting. because thats the ONLY other thing there is to do. be for real. people like you, who feel like its justified to make others who are more laid back and casual players miserable for your own enjoyment or because you just dont care are the problem, alongside the people who made the game only giving a shit about people giving them all their money and time, not how theyre enjoying the game.

This is all just my thoughts and opinions, but, cos isnt really that bad (some servers are worse than other and sometimes updates and bad days just come around too). My solution is if u wanna grow something big, go to a smaller server or expect to be attacked some or grow something that hasnt yet been butchered completely in strength. People are annoying. Targeters are worse for sure, best solution for that? Find a new server. If your gonna play are something under t3 then be very skittish. Trust no one. Anyways the game isnt that bad, it isnt a "skill issue" either you just gotta learn from mistakes and literally trust no body. I on rare time spawn kos but in a smart& tricky way lemme tell y’all so you can watch out for it i saw others copy me to do it So. It start simple i see someone spawn and i take one small bite they may run or fight back so it will turn off the spawn safety. Then if im in a pack i will call-the others to surround itmwhilst hiding so easier catch :D

i honestly dont even understand how people play games like cos in public servers AT ALL. I personally love survival games, but every single survival game on roblox is just full of kosers, like Wild Savannah or every dino game i've seen. I've never found a single server in a game where people are forming herbi herds and trying to survive against small carni packs while migrating and trying to defent their offspring (i'd love to play like this), but when i get on i only find kids killing eachother in massive spawn carcass piles while throwing random insults in the chat. I dont see how is this enjoyable. I would rather get in a private server and pretent im a lonely little creature in a vast empty world doing nothing than get in a public server and get sent back to menu instantly upon spawning in the map. I want to PLAY.
To be fair, wild savanna kosing usually happens whenever you stay in the same place all the time. It’s a horrible surviving strategy that ends in death but it’s pretty damn funny to watch wars between lions, gifs, hyenas and buffs go down. 😂

Im mostly a healer I normaly play as a Moonella, though One time I was trying to play and I kept getting kos bye somebody, they literally hunted me down continuesly to kill me no matter what creature I played and after the 8th time being targeted by Them I Anklebit for the first time in my gameplay and continued to hunt them down instead anklebiting them till they left the server.
Call me whatever you want but i haven't anklebit since XD
And the next time somebody targets me like that again I'll do it again, no regrets.

Got camped at spawned, chased, and killed after leaving for a short break. The players made the excuse that the invincibility frames exist so that I could get away, and spammed skill issue for it, intentionally boiling my crust. That was the last time I played this game.
i tried to get the firakai from the recent fireworks part 2, i worked for literal hours on a specific creature to make progress.. then someone with a trex looking creature (forgot what it’s called but it’s really strong) killed me. the only people who seem to use those types of creatures are kosers honestly and.. i kinda vowed to never play again.. im willing to keep that promise because kosers and stuff make my blood boil
also they spammed ‘use a revive token’ as if i just have 50 on me at a time-

This is what I mean when I say I hate Kosing...because ultimately they all end up in death or dying. I hate that in COS Kosing is such a light subject. People forget basic manners and rules when they get behind a screen and a playable character.
All these methods are not cool and isn't true PVP more like PTP (Player Trick Player). True survival is about defending offspring, territory, and killing to eat. There are very rare occasions where wild life kill for the fun of it. Hyenas may snatch a lion cub but still ultimately eat it.
Then they use the corny excuse of it being survival. But in wild life those methods aren't used. The only one that may come close is the "cowering to kill" sometimes animals will crouch but only to pounce on prey, not to show submissive behavior.
Ankle bitting doesn't actually happen in wild life unless it's a flea or a mosquito 😂. Or unless the small creature is backed into a corner. Imagine a fox ankle bitting an entire elephant, like even lions don't take elephants as a joke.
The spam killing is literally against game rules and is crule and just hateful.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who experienced this because I swear I never get it on camera when it happens to me!😂

@@asmfbh Your right it isn't realistic! However using that excuse is also what I was getting at. I was also getting at the fact that in general animals and nature isn't like that. Nature may be tough but it ain't evil- Humans put their own messed up and twisted ideas into these playable creatures and make it hard to play. I mean the whole situation with wildcraft and "wild heaters" is proof right there. (Don't look it up it's-messed up) And if it isn't so realistic then they shouldn't be mad when someone revenge kills them, or they shouldn't be mad when someone gangs up on them, or snitches on them in the chat. There is a lot of hypocrisy going on that makes it sad.
Imagine server hopping over 7 times and you just keep running into these people. The issue is behavior and thinking, if everyone or at least 85% of the players think this behavior is okay, then your going to run into them regardless of how many servers you hop! If the devs or someone with higher power would address this behavior, or if people would be respectable and remember rules (and actually get punished when they break them), and or how they'd feel if they were treated the same way...then maybe it wouldn't be so bad. Or at the very least the devs make the map bigger with more hiding spots. I missed the old map because regardless of what size creature you were there were some great hiding spots.
I don't mean to sound like a softy, trust me I know how hard nature can be, I live on a farm and raise both rabbits and chickens. I honestly just hate CoS. Until they add rules like no KOS(only kill when hungry) and being forced into body-sitting once you kill something, the game will continue to suck.
The game sucks because the devs keep popping out bigger and stronger pay-to-win monsters. They need to focus on balancing the game rather than adding more and more bigger and stronger creatures. Well to put it simply @Whatthefudgecookie, Creatures of Sonaria is a survival game consisting of various creatures so naturally a core gameplay mechanic is the combat, without the combat it is not a survival game. Because of this, the developers implementing rules such as, only kill when you are hungry, would be uninsightful on the owner's behalf. You also stated that you need to "body-sit" after killing someone; that is not true. The reason being the players ability to pick up food implying that they could simply just take it with them. To further build upon this someone could rather easily leave the food with no consequences. On top of that you unknowingly think the stronger creatures within the game are "pay to win," this is also not true because the meaning of pay to win is something with the ability to be accessed within a game easier or quicker than others using real-world currency. With an example in the game, we can see that they are not pay to win; the creatures in the game can be obtained through trading or purchasing with "mush." Mush itself is not a real-world currency. Even if these were actually problems within the game, simply "boycotting" would not do much as many players would either stay anyway or the developers would not notice or just decide not to change the game as they own it after all. In conclusion it is indeed your choice if you wish to leave or not, but you have no reason to complain about nonexistent problems.

I don’t think most people really understand that Cos isn’t really about survival- it’s a collecting game. You buy the best creature in the game and kos other players because your stronger, not because your surviving. Because let’s face it, majority of survival games don’t put meat on a silver platter so everyone can eat when they want. That literally defeats the purpose of killing to live.

As someone who is guilty of kosing occasionally , I will say it’s very annoying when players see someone upset (reasonably upset, that is. Someone players overreact) about dying and tell them “it’s a survival game 🤓” like, my brother in Christ, how am I supposed to survive when every odd is stacked against me? At what point do we draw the line between “survival” and ‘how good are you at not dying to a creature with stats 3 times better than your own?’ It’s honestly insane. I never understand why people even attack babies not for food, but for fun. It don't even count towards death points. Besides imo babies are too easy and aren't even a challenge, making it not fun at all. I'm not a huge koser but when I do kos I only go after adults because I like to challenge myself. If someone like that cux keeps killing me that's when I either just switch servers or bring out my pliarys and hope that it wants to come and attack my pliarys (:<
A lot of people like to underestimate pliarys
They should just add so that if a creature is at max hunger then it gets a effect that if IT attacks something FIRST then it will do less dmg and get slower and seem sloppier… like when you eat too much food.. and plus, it should only be for carnivores and omnivores (if the omnivores last meals was meat) and photocarnis.
Kosing would be solved a bit with this but only the carnivore side of it, for the herbivores it would be good if their stats were made in a defensive way or run-away way, some are already like that but it would be good if all of them were like that. So if they are defensive way then it would be hard to start an attack and with a run-away way then they are fast but can’t really do dmg to be able to kos creatures of the same tier or above.
I know this will never happen but I need to keep dreaming.

Because animals dont just sit around and jump anything that goes in that area. They isnt such a thing as species mixing. (Except for like..birds helping rhinos or hippos spot danger..and capybaras just chilling-tho they still can and have been killed) so sitting in one area where theres many other species really just ask to get kosed kinda? Animals in the wild? This game is not JUST like the wild or JUST roleplay, it says "SURVIVE kajiu animals" in the title, and some creatures in their descriptions have "Is not afraid to hunt for sport" so the devs are fine with it. It's not realistic anyway it's a creature game with fantasy.
At first sonaria is a survival but now is a pvp :/ because dev and player make this choice and report do completely nothing ;-;

The worst thing about ankle biting is the fact that logically, it just doesn’t make sense. The low range and hitbox is so annoying, and the fact that fliers don’t fall down after literally running into some massive creature is absurd. Sonar studios honestly just sucks, I used to play DA, COS, and HL within the first few weeks of them being released, just for the games to become p2w, grind, and insanely toxic

I was trying to grow a crab. Was targeted by a group/pack of over 8 Galektrons and they started to make fun of me for not being able to survive 8 FULLY GROWN Galektrons as a NEWLY SPAWNED IN CRAB. I told them they were acting childish and then they started calling ME the child after they called me names, harassed me, and then proceeded to ask me for my AGE. I kept telling them no to ALL of these questions because most were personal and I was told I was being childish. I ended up leaving after that.
Everyone else in the server then proceeded to side with THEM after I was targeted and harassed. They all reported me. THE ENTIRE SERVER. I never got banned or a warning and I’ve never seen them ever again. I tried to look up their users, nothing. I’m guessing they were all terminated. They have probably done stuff like this multiple times.
This reminds me of when the same Jeff killed 2 of my strongest creatures (one was a coni and I forgot the other) while anklebiting bc it killed me in just a few bites bc it’d keep jumping up in the air and then latch on me and bite and then jump back up and repeat till I died 💀💀 I could not bite it a single time either

I really dislike when someone Targets a certain creature just because they hate the creature! And killing baby creatures as an adult is pretty pathetic they can't even defend themselves unless they attack first they should have a chance to grow in peace
not the exact same situation but similar. a few weeks ago i spawned in as my elder cald and crossed over to desert from the flower cove bridge. i was heading to the mesa pond but as i passed oasis an eskarlor and an oluata started attacking me. i killed the eskar easily but because my framerate was low my turnrate was awful, so i couldnt kill the olu and i couldnt menu because they kept biting me. then, a taka and a venu came along, but they attacked one at a time so they both died. Then a kavo came almost immediately after before i could heal. I just about survived but then a golga arrived when i was extremely low and i had to log… I didnt lose much because it was full elder but it was a really horrible and nasty experience and kind of ruined my motivation to play the game. sorry for posting this whole paragraph!!! it seemed like the right place to share this. the cos community is getting more and more toxic.

I always have a 'kill once' rule. Where if i kos someone and I see them respawn later I wont kill them again. Sometimes ill land by them for the lols cus i like to see them run away scared but ill never kill them (that is of course, unless the person who respawns deserves it, like if they go off to ankle bite other people).

I was an archalium chillin in oasis (tm) and some small shiaryo or smthn like that came and anklebit me, I did flips and stuff but eventually they just kept chewing me to central and HOLY SSHS THATS ANNOYING so I log and join again as archalium, the Shi finds me again and anklebiter me until I log again, then a THIRD TIME I JOIN AND IT COMES AFTER ME, I LOG, and then I go back to oasis and get killed by an umbra in the lake, then I spawn as Iri, GET ANKLEBIT BY THE SHI AGAIN, AND ALSO DIE BY THE UMBRA EVEN THOUGH I LOGGED.
I cried from that, because that server killed all three of my favourite slots :/ I had to take a break for a bit :/

i think better movement would help to solve anklebiting. the main reason anklebiters are invincible essentially is because big creatures take So Got Dam Long to move anywhere, so like- just improve movement ! having neck movement actually mean something would be great. even better if some sort of claw-usage was possible for lower things

My biggest issue is revenge killers, it makes no sense for people to freak out and attempt to revenge kill just because their tier 3 that takes maybe 30 minutes to grow died so someone could eat. Literally the most toxic person I've ever met on the game was a revenge killer upset over their anklebiter baby sochuri dying.
Second issue for me is the lack of space dedicated for smaller, weaker tiered creatures. This map lacks a lot of tighter areas dedicated for small critters to thrive in. You are much more forced to play bigger or be stranded in the open for any predator to see. The gap between weak and strong is so much larger than it ever used to be when I originally begun playing (early beta test).
I don't care much about anklebiters since it's mostly just funny and they usually go away if you ignore them.
KOS is definitely obnoxious but it's part of the game, so I don't really mind it. I just spawn in as something bigger or change servers if it's that big of a problem.
If something I love gets killed, I can just regrow them, I don't mind it. Gives me something to work towards again.
My real biggest issue in all reality is how grossly sexual the community is, I swear I can't go a single day without seeing people talking about blowing each other, impregnating each other or even directly talking about touching kids. . It's disgusting and I do report each of them, I don't care how much of a joke it is or if they lose their precious rare species by getting banned. I know this is an issue with Roblox and the brainrot of today's teens in general, but it doesn't excuse the fact little kids are being exposed to this in a rated 9+ game.

@@CoSdumMiEs Exactly. Something I find a lot of frustration in is how the moderation is handled in this game in general. I used to moderate for the game Town on roblox (free build + pvp, very chaotic). Moderators were expected to patrol the game (play) and ban those breaking the very clear rules for however many days our guidelines had. Our harshest bans that came so easily and so fast were the ones related to people being sexual, we did not go light. Some of these bans even being permanent due to how disgusting people were being. Sexual players on CoS is FAR more common and more detailed and disgusting than people typically got on a free-building game with an older player base (13+ game typically ranging from 15 to early 20s). They need to be taking action against these people and remove them before children get hurt.
I do the 2nd one (if I'm a bigger and slower creature) so I can get close to creatures and kill them.
appearing friendly is one of the best methods for kosing, and is pretty efficient when I can't outrun them.
Something similar. I might invite them to a pack to gain their trust (for the same reason, or if I'm a slightly weaker creature,) and say when they sit or lay down next to me, I leave the pack and kill them.
it's also useful for large packs with easy to kill members, I might use a Kavouradis and pose as some sort of protector.
in which most of the pack would stay near me for protection, and when they're all bunched up, I would leave the pack and kill them all. it's one of the main reasons i was able to get 600 kills on my Kavo in around a month, and stocked up about 5 death tokens on it within similar time.

This is EXACTLY why I don’t play cos anymore.
One thing I have been complaining about is how expensive the private servers are, I find playing in it more enjoyable than public since I can grind easier so no kosers get me, though it's rough spending 500 robux every month plus dealing with people begging me to add them only to use my private server which gets tiring after 3 months. Overall it just isn't worth it. I wish they either lowered it to only like 150 robux for the lesst or just give us no problems and make it free, why is griffen destinys private servers free but cos and their other games isn't? I don't think it's fair if I'm being honest to the rest of their community

Kosing is optional and entirely allowed.. encouraged, even. Although it can be annoying, its what makes the game lively, and we always have the option to server hop if it’s ruining our experience. Imagine how boring the game would be if everyone just.. sat there. It’s a combat game, hence the point of the combat system, not a roleplay game. If we weren’t meant to fight, creatures wouldn’t have abilities or damage to PvP one another at all. Yes its meant for hunting as well, but fighting is encouraged by developers as it is titled as a survival fighting game. They even keep count of your PvP kills in stats, which wouldn’t be a feature if everyone only killed to hunt since there would be very little and not much purpose in keeping count. So there’s not really a need for complaint. Just server hop. And if you want to grow without interruption and can’t afford a private server, just choose a small server on the server list.
For those who say ‘well animals dont do this in the wild’.. Well, we AREN’T animals in the wild and we aren’t meant to abide by those rules obviously, because it’s a GAME, not reality. In a GAME you can do what you want.
You die, learn, gain skill and get better. If ya’ll don’t like it, maybe this isn’t the game for you.
What isn’t fine is that when people get toxic and argue over it. That goes for both kosers and kos victims. It’s all part of the game, whatever happens happens, just have fun. Revenge kill or restart, I don’t get why people get so personally pressed. It’s literally part of the game.

@@Coffeii its pretty hard to not worry about literal hours worth of progress being wasted when youre repeatedly murked as a juvi of just about any species by full-grown creatures that are more than overkill most of the time. you dont get to BE an adult to defend yourself *unless you get a token for it*. you can say that my point is invalid because 'thats just what players signed up for', but frankly, it really isnt? the appeal to new players was always the cool creature designs, not the middling pvp aspect that people just have to get used to if they really wanna play the game for even five minutes a day.
your second 'point', if it can even be called that since its just "skill issue + quit whining", holds no ground either because the problem still stands. if you fight someone attacking you, chances are youre getting killed because most kosers are using overpowered grinded-out or pay to win creatures. if you run, youre killed because theyll just chase you (and often in groups too, so faster creatures will finish you off anyways). you can server hop, but then you face the same problem in every other server, and now the koser gets the satisfaction of knowing they made you miserable enough to leave.
you can also try to make the argument that we just suck, but the reality is the combat is literally just spam clicking and hoping you have more damage. the only skill based part is trying to accommodate for the bad turning system, and the hitboxes are often way too finicky to kill someone who latched onto the back end of your model. thats the devs fault, not ours.
so youre basically basically just telling us to leave the game for good, and good for you, most of us do because we wont waste our time on this meat measuring contest of a game. i know i did because i didnt feel like making such a hostile game the focus of my life, where it would suck my joy and time away like a leech.
plus, if that was the case, im pretty sure most people wouldnt sit in the oasis doing jack diddly shit except talk for most of their time when theyre not fighting. because thats the ONLY other thing there is to do.

This is all just my thoughts and opinions, but, cos isnt really that bad (some servers are worse than other and sometimes updates and bad days just come around too). My solution is if u wanna grow something big, go to a smaller server or expect to be attacked some or grow something that hasnt yet been butchered completely in strength. People are annoying. Targeters are worse for sure, best solution for that? Find a new server. If your gonna play are something under t3 then be very skittish. Trust no one. Anyways the game isnt that bad, it isnt a "skill issue" either you just gotta learn from mistakes and literally trust no body. Not even a baby you nested man like the times me and my friend have been attacked and hunted by our own children is a little silly. If you can, the moment you are bit, kill em. No mercy. Dont matter if they doing a mission or not because those who dont ask usually aim to kill. ALSO DO NOT TRUST PLAYING IN A BIG SERVER WHEN YOU HAVE OVER 300 DEATH POINTS JUST SAVE THE CREATURE FOR A SAFER TIME.

So. It start simple i see someone spawn and i take one small bite they may run or fight back so it will turn off the spawn safety. Then if im in a pack i will call-the others to surround itmwhilst hiding so easier catch :D
