- Hey guys! So I understand cost can be a major barrier to studying medicine in a foreign country. However, don't give up thinking that going to medical school abroad is too expensive because there are many countries where you can study medicine at a very low cost. Countries in Europe, the Caribbean and Asia offer very affordable and high-quality medical education.

Europe - 01:23
China - 03:06
Malaysia - 03:35
The Philippines - 04:22
Taiwan - 04:59
The Caribbean - 05:11
A Few Countries not mentioned in the video that are worth checking out:
*Egypt
*Kyrgyzstan
*Georgia
Europe
Europe lends itself to so many different options, in Belgium, Greece and Belarus you can go to medical school for under $5,000 (USD) and in other countries such as a Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria etc. medical education is under $15-20k a year.
Notable universities include:
1. Charles University (Czech Republic)
2. Semmelweis University (Hungary)
3. Nicolaus Copernicus University (Poland)
4. Jagellonian University (Poland)
5. University of Antwerp (Belgium)
*Germany is also a great option, however, I am sticking to countries and universities that offer medicine in ENGLISH
China
Another great option as this vast country has numerous options within it, the range for the universities I mentioned in the video is $4,700-6,300 but overall most medical schools fall within the range of $5,000-8,400.
Checkout this list of great Chinese medical schools:
www.usnews.com/education/best...
Malaysia
Malaysia is one of the more expensive options on this list, I made an error in the video saying the fees only go up to $13,500 as there are some universities with fees as high as $25,000 a year. Newcastle university Malaysia and University of Malaysia are some of the more expensive options however, the more affordable medical schools include:
1. Widad University College
2. Perdana University
The Philippines
The Philippines is a really affordable and great option. Definitely check out 'Cagayan State University' and 'AMA College of Medicine'.
Taiwan
A really affordable option also with NTU (National Taiwan University) being ranked in the top 100 medical schools in the world by QS.
The Caribbean
A massive variety of medical schools. Check out this list of the 12 cheapest medical schools in the Caribbean: uscollegeinternational.com/ch...
*In some medical schools in the Caribbean, you also have the chance to do your later years of clinical training in the UK.

You can make a difference on TH-cam by comparing yourself to other medical students, so don't give up keep it up🙌
Of course! So glad to hear it’s helpful!
Great cheaper options.Issue about UK IS, you spend 200k gbp for mbbs in uk , but the pay after that in nhs is like 40k , your never going to be able to pay back the fees in the first 5 yrs .. its going to take atleast 10 to 15yrs until you pay back the loan .. when do you start living at that rate ? Buying a house, having a family etc.. you need family support ..
Hey shivan i want to know does school grade really matters coz i dont have very good grades is it possible to grab a mrdical seat with low grades?

Malaysia Medicine is 20,000 + USD for a year for internationals. Please do your research properly before spreading false info. Also I don’t know which carribean university you’re talking about cause pretty much all Caribbean unis are 65,000+ USD per year

Hey! Thank you soo much for sharing this. I wanted to ask two things though
1)Do any of these universities have sn entrance exam?
2)Do you happen to know the average marks/percentage accepted in these schools?
Interesting.
The majority of the European options mentioned are cheaper than medical school in Cuba.
🤔
Maybe the cost of living is higher
Can you please tell me the total cost per annum in kings collage london for mbbs students and are scholarships available?

Hey.. I would like to study mbbs abroad. How about studying in switzerland and Is it acceptable in india?.If it is acceptable, what are the requirements needed to study there?
If you can afford Switzerland, you can easily go to US, AUS, CAN and UK at any time.
What about veitnam mbbs
How about MBBS in Russia
Can I know the name of Greece clg name whose fees is $1600 ? Which you told in vdo
It is wrong. Two universities offer medicine school in English. But the cost is about 13000 euro/ year
@@mbotsaris can you name the colleges
@@shrishtysingh9176 yes. National and Kapodistrian university (Athens) , Aristotle University (Thessaloniki)
Hey!
It is not true that med schools in greece cost 1500$
The actual cost is minimum 12k a year!!!!
12k dollars or euro?
Good reason to study medicine instead of math or accounting: when a person randomly loses zeros from their numbers!
5,400 in malaysia?
But why didn't you study in any of these countries since it's cheaper but rather choose to study in London?
That's the question popped in my mind too😂
Because he had money he’s making this video for those who do not have that much money to spend
Easy
And he has money because… TH-cam? 😂
Is there a medical school where you can just pay for the education and go, without the top secondary schoolgrade hysteria?
I'm not stupid and highly motivated (now). Just didn't take school to seriously in my teens.
Try Italy
same situation as you...did you find anywhere? please let me know
hey, shivaan I want to mbbs in turkey. please tell me if it will be good or not for mbbs in turkey. What's your opinion?
It does seem like a good option, check this page out for info on studying in turkey (seems useful):
www.medlinkstudents.com/universities/study-medicine-in-turkey-in-english/
Medical schools in Georgia are also very affordable, do you advice going there?
Unfortunately I don’t know too much about medicine in Georgia, it seems like a viable option to me but I’d recommend doing some more research on it!
it is easy to get admission, but entering the country is very difficult
not the best option
Georgia is the not the best choice
The info is too basic and incomplete. You should mention the requirement of language in Europe and South America. Intl students will need to study two years the local language prior to university.
Every medical school I mentioned offers medicine in english
I've seen some videos that recommend Finland, is it a good option? And is it easy to apply to finnish universities?
I’m also confused on this i don’t understand where to go ! Did you sort something about this ?
@@sheikhamaan6687 no I heard that applying to Finnish colleges starts on january so I'm still waiting
@@sanaesanae4461 So am i ! But I really can’t figure out where to go. I was planning to go italy but the imat and that stuff! So frustrating.
@@sheikhamaan6687 I wanted to go to germany but unfortunately I don't Germany
@@sanaesanae4461 Us bro us
We both are confused ! Next neet is upcoming and I still am finding colleges.
How is about Armenia ?
I'm not too sure about Armenia, maybe do some research on it? If you can't find anything I can have a look as well.
@@shivaanbahlmed can you please have a look
Armenia is also the cheapest place for medicine
it costs from 5000USD to 6000USD.
Education is also good but you have to use standard books for knowledge. They won't provide you standard books. And for clinicals also there is limited. you should practice in India during summer for clinicals.
Overall cost is affordable with good theory knowledge. That's all i can say
I'm currently a student at Farabi Kazakh national University... cheap and best... Almaty City is super
Can you tell more about your college?
Surprised to see Germany and Italy were skipped!
Yo bro i dont have good grades is it possible to grab a mbbs seat in uk??
You have to have competitive grades to study medicine in the UK for sure. The only other option would be to study an undergrad first and then apply as a graduate if your grades aren’t up to the mark.
@@shivaanbahlmed can you provide the information how to proceed the second option
@@shivaanbahlmed would like to know more about the second option including cost and duration
Philippines English soesking😊
He used the white red Belarus flag ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Armenia MBBS is not also a bad choice. Affordable total cost
It's not in the EU, so I wouldn't recommend it unless you want to work outside Europe.
@@TIGAR117 Will I also be able to work in EU if I sit for respective exams and other processes in the an EU country I'm going to work?
You can’t study medicine in Europe in English.
Yes you can actually, all the universities I mentioned offer the degree in english
Medicine in Malaysia is very expensive, the cheapest I found was 20,000 USD. If you know any university in Malaysia which international students can study medicine for 5,000 - 13,000 USD or cheaper, please comment below the university name.
Did u know any uni now or
Bro for these countries neet is compulsory or not
If you want to return to practice in india or if the university required it then yes
What about germany?
Could be a good option, however, you’d want to make sure that university teaches in english.
What about Italy University s.give me opinion please.
Most affordable German unis teach are public and they mostly exclusively teach in German and the ones that teach in English are private which are insanely expensive
Armenia is a good option.
