Hey everyone! I hope you enjoy the new video, I had a blast putting this one together! I'm intrigued, what maps would you like to see in future videos? Currently, I have Namalsk as the map for the next few videos as it'll be a series. After that, I'll probably take the map that most people would like to see and try to have a good adventure on there to turn it into a story afterward. I'm excited to see what you'd like to watch!
The amazing stories seem to follow you no matter what map you play on! But I would definitely love to see some larger green maps such as Banov or Deer Isle, as I absolutely loved your Deer Isle vid
Whatever map you do decide on, doesn’t matter to me. What does matter is this bit of advice: when you’ve grouped with anyone, no matter the group size, always decide on a meeting point should you get completely separated or any of you die. It’s best to choose a location that’s relatively accessible from anywhere one might spawn, and to decide on meeting there every hour on the hour, just in case you miss each other.
Would love to see a desert map, not sure if there is one though. I remember the DayZ mod had Takistan and Fallujah and they were easily my favourite maps in the entire game; so yeah, I'd beam with joy if I saw a desert map make an appearance on one of your vids :D
comes with many hours of gameplay, not particularly down to good eye sight, it comes down to lighting and shadow changes, when viewing the window in your example, a lot of visual experience of how the environment looks and changes when there is movement, or slight changes to what your accustomed to seeing without any presence there.
it was like a freakin horror movie in some ways lol. meets friends, all team up and loots a creepy bunker, then trouble strikes at the most heartwarming moment and they start getting picked off one by one. Had me on the edge of my seat, I swear sour has plot armor lol. As always great video sour!
Couldn't help but feel the same way. Things were going so damningly well. The sort of good times and cheery demeanor that cinema loves to sully kinda gave me a horror hunch.
I feel you with videos like this, theres a lot of these series I know are staged basically, but fuck if I care. The plot line and how they do it makes it interesting, I'd prefer it over the experience of some 5 man group stalking you and just yelling racial slurs lmfao
I absolutely love the chemistry with you and Suzie. Pretty much from the moment you met her it was an instant friendship. I feel bad for all the people that got in both of you guys' ways
I agree I also enjoyed their relationship also.. Made for a great team and story... These are the people i prefer to meet as Dayz friends (trust) Its just there naturally..
lol yeah thats all staged. A bit too many coinsidences that they met all these people at the right time in the right place as well, when it is such an empty server, such a big map and people usually play at different times and not every day as well.
Highly skilled, incredible audio/visual perception, impeccably friendly, unflappable integrity, and of course that buttery smooth voice. You're pure GOLD Sour!

Its insane that everyone at the bunker knew another player somehow. The sheer luck of that happening is crazy. I want so bad go get into this game but its so hard so I settle for watching you hahaha. You and Suzie made a great team. You and Ned aswell. Hope to see them pop up in more videos

This is the first time i watched this game, i heard about it years ago. I watched every second and it was amazing in terms of Sour being a gentle yet fierce player, it looked like a movie where your every-day player can join the adventure! Also i didnt even know Sour until now. Thank you YT algorithm for suggesting such a great creator! Keep it up man! You earned a sub as well as a new DayZ purchase from me, they should be sponsoring you for doing a great job at promoting this game years later! Peace!
Wow, this was such a treat! So happy to see Ned pop up in the tunnels. Such a great survivor! Suzie too! Wow! Also very happy to see Livonia getting all this love. The game is in such a great and exciting place, this being the most exciting update yet. Can’t wait to see what the future holds! Cheers.

Hey SourSweet. Your videos are so awesome. The narration that you do and the way you play is pure art. Thank you for all the hard work and dedication to the game and videos you put out. I could watch them 10x over. Thank you
Man, your videos kinda lit a lost spark in me ... I had been playing DayZ when it was still an ARMA 2 mod like literally over ten years ago, right up to when it became a standalone game in the seemingly never-ending alpha-stages. ;-) It's really come a long way since and I gotta say really enjoy your videos - they are just so refreshingly calm and laid-back. Which was the way I preferred playing DayZ. I probably gotta get back to it at some point ... thanks for reminding me of a great experience!

The bit where you all where in the bunker was so cool, and what a freeking plot twist when those guys ambushed you outside the bunker. That was really cool and I don't think there are many other games where you can have moments like that and experience such emotions from realizing your teammate just got shot and if you just would have killed the enemy a few seconds earlier, they might have gone on livng and fighting with you. So freaking cool man! Your making me concider buying this game more and more the more I watch your videos.
definitely buy the game. You'll die a lot at first, and if you're used to more 'game-y' FPSs, the steep difficulty and high consequence for failure can be frustrating. But once you know how to stay alive, it's the most immersive apocalypse-simulator on the market. When you meet good people and go on huge adventures, its hard to remember you're playing a game sometimes. I will say though, be prepared for a 6+ hour run to be instantly ended by some unseen sniper, or for one small, seemingly insignificant mistake to cost you your life down the track. Those moments where it feels like the whole world is against you is what sets DayZ apart from other survival games in my opinion.
@@deviateedits yeah, I have heard about the step learning curve. I think I could have a lot of fun regarding of that though. Idk if dayz is one of those games that never go on sale, but if it’s not I’ll pick it up when it’s on sale I think.

This video was truly amazing! The bunker was fascinating, never played Livonia - but now I will. Super friendly people as well. When I play, all I ever see is people who shoot first and then ask questions.
Wow, this feels like a movie with a superb story, it wasn't boring for one second! Mad respect for making such stories out of random gameplay situations!

I bet anyone who gets to play with SourSweet in game feels like he's a really well developed NPC designed to give their DayZ experience spirit of adventure.
Something I love about DayZ is these vids and the automatic RP of the game that for me at least started with FrankieOnPcIn1080p! But I’m just playing the game and people want to instantly RP and we have an badass adventure! This is why I love DayZ

This gave me such a Frankie vibe. Keep it going man I am in love with your stories. Sadly I do not think Frankie will be back but I guess that is for best if he wants his retirement. You Sour are his successor. Some legends have to fade away so new could rise. Thank you Sour for this feeling, the same one I used to have watching Frankies videos as a child. Now as a grown adult man enjoying your content.
Another amazing vid mate, your smashing them out of the park. Loved the bunker and with the effort you put in with the music it was like something out of a horror film. Keep it up and I can wait to see the next one.
I was genuinely upset when Susie was murdered. Every encounter had been surprisingly wholesome and innocent until that point. Excellent video and story as always.
37:20 zombies last for 1 minute after you leave a 100-150 meter radius, if you stay in that radius, they will stay for longer. So more often than not, if you see dead zombies, they are still within 150 meters or so
I've never seen any full gameplay videos of DayZ. I've never even played it. For some reason I clicked on this video, just to see if the update made the game worth my time now. Instead I found myself immensely inmerged into this adventure you've had and the relations you've made. This was super fun to watch, and super enlightening on how the game works. Great attention to detail, and calm communication was one of the more enjoyable aspects. Subscribed!
Heard about this game recently so I decided to look into it. Stumbled on a few of your videos and I have to say: I love your videos and the way the community that plays interacts with each other has me wanting to give it a try! I'll be on PS5 though, so not sure how much if a disadvantage that puts me at. Thanks for the content!
None really I’m pretty sure dayz isn’t crossplay. My biggest tip is learn official before you try community. Community is easier but the players are often less friendly plus if you get good at official then no server will ever be an issue
It's amazing how this game went from Operation Flashpoint to where we are today. I haven't played DayZ, but I really enjoy watching the game develop over the years.. Wow I can't belive what dayz is becoming this is so awesome
You know sour I love your videos man just wanted to say don't give up if you commit to what you are passionate about you will one day be living your dream. Keep up the good work man and as always never give up. Because us as a community will support you all the way
I have to say im so in love with you and your gameplays. It would be a huge dream playing with you or walk into you in dayz one day. Never before heard such a calm voice on a streamer. You play like you are the main character in a movie hahaha every battle you join the other groups are so fucked XD Hopefully you never stop posting videos ;)
Sour another masterpiece my friend. Even though I watched that run live. Your personal touches make it seem like I never seen it before. I love your YT videos. Keep up the great work.
I was fully invested in this story. RIP Suzie...
One of the rarest but best things on youtube: a soursweet video
thank you man!!!
being blessed with the a SourSweet vid is the best bday gift ever!
Happy birthday
Happy birthday, we wish you a beautiful future and love and happiness 🎉
@@onestar1017 thank you! :)
@@onthetrowel1895 thank you so much! :)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
You and the girl just gave me the best lullaby I would've wished for, your voices together were so relaxing
Of course we enjoyed 😃
What a cracking adventure!
Love the videos bro I started to fall in love with dayz but hate it at the same dam time , it’s and amazing game though I hope to play the tester updates on psn soon 👍Plis man upload more
Her: I'm yellow on food and water but you know.
Sour: I got some pens when you get low
Her: I;m not doing so good *stumbling, dying from food and water*
Sour: *scrolls thru inventory past 2 cans of food*
Her: I just threw up
Sour: Oh! we need to get you meds
I must admit I am very bad at finding things in my inventory
This gave me light frankie vibes and it brings back nostalgia. Love it!
the map animation instantly makes me think of him any time i see it being done
Here we go 🙉
as always very kewl! i loved watching this live on twitch, i highly encourage everyone to watch you live!
I bet anyone who gets to play with SourSweet in game feels like he's a really well developed NPC designed to give their DayZ experience spirit of adventure.
True
The Orb - Little Fluffy Clouds ... the girl in your vid totally reminds me of this track. Great video buddy
It's nice to see players work together and have fun you all had a great chemistry and it's a lot of fun to watch
Spoiler!
@@javierrosario5340 oh s*** my bad I usually think people comment at the end
Something I love about DayZ is these vids and the automatic RP of the game that for me at least started with FrankieOnPcIn1080p! But I’m just playing the game and people want to instantly RP and we have an badass adventure! This is why I love DayZ
Absolutely one of the best adventures I've seen to date! Watching your game play almost feels like time stops. I'm in awe at the experiences I get to have watching your content. This is a banger! Keep up the great work sour, and as always....💯🤘
love your videos i was playing dayz on console now i moved to pc cause i watched your videos!
Keep it up and I can wait to see the next one.
one of the best videos from going to the bunker to pvping to getting sick and almost dying from dehyydration lol
I was genuinely upset when Susie was murdered. Every encounter had been surprisingly wholesome and innocent until that point. Excellent video and story as always.
37:20 zombies last for 1 minute after you leave a 100-150 meter radius, if you stay in that radius, they will stay for longer. So more often than not, if you see dead zombies, they are still within 150 meters or so
"oh we are dying because we have no water" proceeds to swim in water. lmao
Drinking that water would make us even more ill with cholera! Looking back now though it was quite funny haha
SOur, Loved this Episode so much, It was so Nice, I watched it twice. Keep up the great work brother.
Subscribed!
I haven't played DayZ in months and I still love your videos. Glad to see you're getting the views you deserve.
Heard about this game recently so I decided to look into it. Stumbled on a few of your videos and I have to say:
I love your videos and the way the community that plays interacts with each other has me wanting to give it a try!
I'll be on PS5 though, so not sure how much if a disadvantage that puts me at. Thanks for the content!
None really I’m pretty sure dayz isn’t crossplay. My biggest tip is learn official before you try community. Community is easier but the players are often less friendly plus if you get good at official then no server will ever be an issue
first thing i woke up to was watching this before my flight, i def will be watching more on my vacation. really great content.
Ned was such a great running mate too. Obviously skilled and calm like you are. Good stuff.
I haven’t seen any of your videos for a while, I forgot how entertaining it was.
The water , drain, saving the boys 🤙🤙🤙🤙💯 , & the ambient sounds , 💯🤙🤙🤙🤙
I've gotta agree with everyone, you and suzie made a great team, two very calming players, with calming voices... Good show 💎
That was so good. And I loved how you and Suzy hit it off so well. This is my first time watching you. Iv subscribed 😊
It's amazing how this game went from Operation Flashpoint to where we are today. I haven't played DayZ, but I really enjoy watching the game develop over the years.. Been watching your videos for the past few months and decided to finally sub today after my son told me he watched you as well.. Keep up the great play Sour, you are a joy to watch.
Gosh, that ambiance transition at 34:40 was slick
Great video, edge of my seat stuff. Need another Suzie and Ned encounter as they were brilliant!
Sour!!!! I’m sooooo happy to see a new video my man!!! Miss your videos!!!
