"The Fever" was a club in the South Bronx, during the 1980s and 1990s. As you know, if you love Hip-Hop, that The Bronx was represented by BDP and Queensbridge was represented by MC Shan, Juice Crew, they had their famous Hip-Hop battle which The BX won. So NaS in his early days, early 90s, not long after the South Bronx and Queensbridge battle, NaS and his crew went to "The Fever", basically enemy territory and did his thing, his 1st recorded interview was by Ralph McDaniels Video Jukebox at the Fever. That sound at the end is from the movie Leonardo DeCaprio movies "The Wolf of Wall Street".
‼️ FEVER ‼️ is a double entendre here as "PITCHING A FEVER" means rolling a 5 pc in a dice game. NaS turned 50. .. 5 decades = PITCHING a 5 pc. FEVER. .. and it was also a club back in the day where the best of the best performed. Club FEVER.
Another fire album opener for NaS! Magic 3 concluded the fantastic 6 album run with Hit-Boy in 3 years, 2 trilogies, KD and Magic series! Magic 3 AOTY!

💯 You got it on point. I had some great moments at The Fever in mid 90s.
You should watch the official video. It's his actual b-day party. This song and album dropped on his b-day last year.
Braid game on point sis.
This is a new Nas classic.. But you should absolutely do a Nas 2nd childhood song reaction
I don't know if you caught that Littles and Jones reference. Nas is a distant relative to Malcolm X via his mother side 'Little'.
That humming at the end was from "the wolf on wallstreet" movie....as he said wolf outta NYC....Nas is a genius! Set that album off right!! Banger
