This movie is painful to watch lol... Since when did Sam become a playboy? Seriously, can we even consider him a playboy anymore? He's old already🤣🤣 Play"uncle" maybe? In the 2003 TV series, its been established that Sam is "mature beyond his age, serious in work, serious in relationships" kind of person. After Belle got married with Vincent, Sam kept having flashbacks about his time with Belle and all... It took him from ep2 to ep35, about four years to find out that he actually doesn't love Belle anymore. That proves how serious he is towards his relationship, almost to a point of stubbornness. Then in the sequel, Zoe died... Sam shared his grief with Holiday blah blah blah... Then he fell for Holiday for some reason, even though their personalities don't match at all... Okay, FINE!!! Now they make him fall for another girl?! My God... Seriously i dont even recognize him anymore, he's just a shell of what he used to be. I was a kid when i watched the first TV series, Sam was someone i looked up to, but now i look at him and he's a negative example, at least in his love life
I feel like watching a 90 minutes beautiful music video! As a movie, the story is simply too weak! However, still enjoy watching Samuel Tong and Captain Cool!
Disappointing movie. Should be called "Pilots in love" rather than Triumph in the Skies. Just 130mins of beautiful people and meaningless scenery. Little to no scenes and plot about aviation. (SPOILER) The most action you'll see is captn Branson dealing with the turbulence which only lasted 3mins. Love connection was very weak and instant. No story for the couples except for Louis Koo and Charmaine characters. A ripoff of the popular successful TVB series Triumph in the skies 1&2. 6/10 for the actors/actresses playing in a horrible film. Blame the directors and storywriters.

I completely agree with the drag i feel like there could be things they could have cut from the movie such as (SPOILER ALERT!) when the woman was screaming on the ferris wheel instead of idk CALLING HIM with her cell phone?? and that god awful chicken dance sequence but overall its not really the "Worst movie ever" i would watch again if i was in the mood for some romance i would give 6/10 its watchable but not that memorable
Havent watched it, but why use western scenery instead of Asian? Sta. Monica, London, etc...whats up with that? Are the Chinese, especially HKers, embarrassed of their own culture? I really think so.
