Your Perry Bale Collector looks a lot like our Farmhand sled we used 30 years ago...we still have it but havent used it for over 30 years, we run the wagon right behind the baler.
Hello first of all, thank you very much for the video. Then I wanted to ask if you can tell me something about the hay sled. How wide, long, high is the sledge and how many hay bales go in. Thanks for your work Regards Manuel
the loader is ver light and seems as we were travelling at such a slow speed it wasnt an issue, anyway having it down hinders vision and manoverability
Well. We used have a markant too with that exact bale collector. They are a painfully slow machine but make a very good, regular bale. The NH-530 replaced it and is very fast but throws out bales of all shapes and sizes. In the vid, your leaving half the hay on the ground - I'd say you didn't have your haybob set up properly.
That tractor will last for as long as I'm around, it may look bad but its mechanically perfect, like most irish tractors! taking the bales off the field with a big flat trailer and loads of man power
Those are some serious looking windrows you're baling but it looks like the old baler handled them well especially since you were taking it intelligently slow- great camera work by the way.
hi mate nice vid love it we have got some land that where going to make hay on this year we are going to bey a small spere bailer but i have been toled there a pain to set up i meen the twine. could you have a vid of servising that claas bailer and putting the twine in plz i would aprishiat that a lot thankes :D
im not sure how much longer that tractor is gonna last mate..... looks like it should be taking a back seat.... how are u getting the bales off the field?
for the tiny bit of extra weight the loader puts on the front axle I don't think it will be a problem, a set of front weights that International recommended would be heavier. Regular grease and it will be fine for years to come
Bluebell sisal baler twine, That takes me back! My father always maintained that it was a better product than Red Star twine We also used the polypropylene hay twine that came from that factory (Gold medal?) That was designed to be kinder to the hands and because it was slightly thicker than standard no.2 plastic twine, it would work with older balers but as one local wag pointed out "Only The Irish could produce a plastic baler twine that was the same colour as straw!"
I have one of these, in America they are not common . Mine stopped knotting and because it is not like other more common ones such as newholland or John Deere I can not even get it fixed.
@desjack1 yea, they were a bit on the big side, but it wasnt a problem when we were taking it handy and it cleaned the field well too

My god what a lovely bale collector at the back! What can you tell me about it? Is it difficult to make one?

A very classic setup which is what I love!
Some yoke hi
I have a 785 and it's a brave workhorse
Great video with great angles. Id say 20 ft is a bit much for it though.
Hi I have a class 60 square bailer and it's constantly shearing the bolts do you know what would be wrong with it
shearing pins usually means slightly out of time
The Claas baler is rare where i live. mainly NH and JD.
Love it lad well done great weather for hay!
great video
What's the point of the sled behind?
Gathers the bales into groups to make them easier to load
keep that loader down, up in the air makes the tractor unstable if you hit a ground hog hole
ive run this baler on a 25 pro hp tractor!!
Quero uma dessas. Excelente.

hi
ive a claas markant and I don't know what model it is .there is nothing on the steel name plate only markant, whats the difference in a 50 and 60.
60 has a wider pick up. There's a 45 as well same size as a 50 but the 50 has more room for string. 4 balls and 6 I think. Great balers.
