Amazing pigeon ❤
There goes hop a long Cassidy 😅 3:23
Great way to finish your adventure at a brewery. ❤❤❤Seasons greetings.
I love those pigeons!! (and there are quite a few other interesting native pigeons in this area that we don't see in Melbourne which I really like... but the Topknot is the weirdest! 😀). Thanks for watching! Hoppy Holidays!! ~ Karen
Like how you did the teaser for next video. Looking forward to it. Bad luck missing pelagic but I heard once it's better to have preferences than expectations. Had many great holidays at Pambula - the place to be!
I love Pambula too! Lots of past memories from there 😀 I'm looking forward to getting the real birding videos out... starting with the next one! And I agree! I prefer surprises of birds that I see over chasing one specific bird (but that's me 🙂) ~ Karen
Bummer about the Pelagic's. You looked in a bit of pain, I hope you can get that sorted.
All good! 🙃 Pelagic is going to be rescheduled in Feb or March next year. Guess we'll see how that goes but great excuse to get back to this area & see more! 😀 ~ Karen
You guys know all the good spots. I've been putting markers on my google maps.
Happy to help! We don't really find the secret spots, but Nimal is always on ebird so he'll pick the locations after birds have been spotted & reported. 😀
Birding in Australia its been so fun and your videos illustrated this! bcb
Thanks BCB! Birding is fun most of the time (but depends on where the birds hang out! 😀)
Love your videos, sorry about your cancelled pelagic but looking at that wind maybe it was for the best.
Thanks! 😀 And yeah... the wind was pretty bad that day. The swells were supposed to be very high too. Of course the next day was lovely & still 🙃 ~ Karen
@naturephotographychallenge Oh no, don't say that. Blimmin typical hey!! 🤦😡😡😤
Sorry it was a blow -out. How could you leave the Beach Thick-knees to the end with no mention in the earlier part of the video? - They're super cool birds!
Ahhhh well they are in the next video!! That was just a teaser for part 2 😄
Bummer! The percentage of scrapped pelagic trip plans, due to too much wind, are awfully high! We had 3 possible days when in Cape Town in Oct 2018, with fluid itinerary so we could swap days... Guess the outcome. (Hint: perfect weather the 4:th day when we just HAD to move on.)
Yeah always the way!! The next day the weather conditions would have been perfect on this trip too 🙃 oh well.... just have to wait until next year when it's supposed to be rescheduled
❤satin bower bird pair visit my garden to eat rolled oats
How wonderful!! Satin Bowerbirds are so funny 😀I love watching & listening to them ~ Karen
Fab bird❤❤❤
