Sick man, i've watched about 20 of your videos back to back, I feel like I can go conquer the diorama world now. Thanks for sharing your talent with the world buddy.
Seeing the step-by-step process on FB was great. This is actually the first time I see the whole thing put together, turned out crazy man. Love seeing how you constantly up your own game.
***** ... Thank you sir, I appreciate that. I honestly have a lot more to learn, I always look forward to new builds as I feel like I learn something new almost every time.
Those stairs railings might be easier to make if you make them look as if they are metal. Somewhat like your electrical pipes on the wall like @ 19:36. I know you have the wood guard railings already, but I have seen both, wood and metal used this way. I noticed that the railing you are using is eating up your steps useable stepping surface area. If you make pipe like railings ,then you could attach a vertical railings to the brick wall (like they were fasten by using heavy duty bolts and to the hand railing.
I love this, I'm going to watch some of your other videos. Hopefully I will be able to try a basic one to surprise my nephew for his super heroes party.
Love the way this looks! You probably mentioned this but what wood did you use to make the steps on the stairs and the door and the other wooded pieces?
Bob the Odd ... hahaha... I feel you... which is probably why I'm selective with commissions... if I'm not looking forward to it, it will take me forever! And thank you bro.
What I use for "wires" is usually paracord. I use it for cosplay props that may need wire. I know this vid was posted a while ago, but maybe you can still use it in the future
Hey Al! Back to watching as many of your videos as I can! VERY impressive seeing your skills progress! Couple questions: Are the stairs made out of balsa wood & glued to the foam staircase? Also, how did you carve the round electric pole out of the foam so perfectly? I'm pretty sure I know how you detailed it to give it the wooden look (prolly same way you detail wooden floors) but would love to know how to make electric poles so perfectly. THANKS! & keep up the great work!
Basic problem: the risers come up over the edge of the tread. Never seen that & all carpentry books say to cut boards so the treads cover the top edge of the riser. Everything else looks great, but that puts my teeth on edge. Probably because everything else works, so this sticks out more.
I'm just an amateur diorama builder creating these for action figure photography. Luckily, I didn't need any building inspectors y9 sign off before I shipped this out, lol. Thank you for watching, and for your input.
+alejandro jara oh okay. I have almost 100 videos and I mention what I use for materials hundreds of times. If your truly interested, you will do some research. Good luck.
Dio looks good just one thing on the stairs. The risers/toe kicks should go under the treads and not in front of them and for the rails, it would be too hard and drawn out of an explaination on how to fix them. I'm a contractor/builder and have built many, many decks and porches in my time and the principles of that type of building would apply in any scale. Get a book on how to build decks and stairs/rails and it will help you a great deal
