It was not something about which The Central govt. was making loud promises of. Even, if you look at the integretion of Jammu and Kashmir during the post independence era.. You'll see the central govt taking a passive strategy that actually helped us. So taking any harsh steps in manipur may lead to further disintegration of the country, so i believe that the govt is looking for some feasible way to solve the dispute and return the Normalcy.
Mere speech on Manipur after one year of silence is not enough, PM must land in Manipur to heal wounds on the land if Manipur is a part of India.

UHM Amit Shah stayed in Manipur only for 3 days, but he failed to resolve the issue and he assured to return to Manipur after 15 days, but he did not go again. Actually, PM Modi did not speak at all about why he did not go to Manipur, he went around and talked about it, this is not at all right. Why were Assam rifles kept in Manipur to protect or kill Manipuri people? Amit Shah is a liar and arrogant too. Dirty politics, discrimination and divide rules are their policy. There's a reason why HIGH COURT have lost its faith in TMC, Recently, a sarpanch of some village in bengal found herself in the court room questioned by the honourable High court about her perception of being a Sarpanch - she had no ideas, not a single thing what she was doing,... Her husband was running business in the name of sarpanch. She was also an illegal immigrant from Bangladesh. And you know which party she represented TMC.

PM speech is so unheavy on Manipur. Nothing is seen about govt effort both at the centre and by the state govt. Work is done only in words or orally and no concrete material development is seen which is the nature of bjp ruled govt at the centre and state of Manipur. There is nothing to be counted for the last ten yrs. As a citizen of India I would say this are very unfortunate era for India. If the govt is serious about solving the issue, try implementing the Special provision of article 371C of the constitution of India which has been subdued or suppressed for the last 53 yrs. otherwise long lasting peace in Manipur is not possible. People of Manipur has started rejecting the BJP and is going to wipe out completely soon which will be the result of Talk more/promise more, work less.
