Machgaogamon makes more a cooler Ultimate compared to Weregaruromon. And Miragegaogamon has the makings of a Royal Knight. Also, I don't know if it was confirmed, but Miragegaogamon have Dramon destroyers?
Digimon in the show have mostly linear evolutions, but some of the games present it as more of a network. The Cyber Sleuth games in particular go wild with who you can turn into what.

There’s some differences between gaomon and lucario. As both are feline fighters and both have powerful moves and abilities to fight against bigger opponents.

I wonder why they never explained why he has digital hazard sign on his chest like the Guilmon line but only as a Miragegaogamon.
It’s because he’s loyal to his tamer and will listen to them even if they’re evil so he has the potential for great destruction

I always saw this digimon as kumamon Knock off, but with better Mega form. Kumamon's Marsmon didn't really works on me
