Any pro angler that isnt doing the youtube/social media thing is missing the boat. This is the kinda thing that the average person can relate to and see what these guys are thinking and what it is like outside of the tourney. Love it Mr Martin!
Scott, I love your vids and I a very big fan of yours. I am 43 years old. I attend 172 fishing tournaments in EU, and have learned that the luck is a very big part of the game. This week you just was out of luck, but do not confuse not unlucky just no luck. You can do 110% in every tournament, without luck you won't go very far. The good thing is, it's always next time. I've fish on lake Vermilion many times for walleye and never in same place, did go with a guide and we caught a few. Fished in Illinois most of my life and always enjoyed it. Even days when didn't catch big ones, bass fishing is the best! I live in Alva Florida fished at a place right out the back door and my neighbors were in awl, as to how many big bass was in the lake but that was in North Fort Myers, haven't fish since going on 4 years now.

If you’re ever back in Ga and need a place to fish it’d be awesome to spend a day fishing with you and getting to learn from a pro. Do you fizz your fish i noticed a few on their sides. If you do, what method do you use? through the side or between their cutters. If you do can you do a video on doing it? I think it would be good as most people don't do it. thanks in advance
What’s the purpose of pushing your thumb button and releasing the spool when a fish goes on a run? Isn’t that what drag is for? Or is that a better alternative so you don’t break the line or pull the hook and lose a fish?

Lucky to call my home Lake, Lake Lanier. Live only a few miles from the water. FLW need to hit Lanier in mid-April, that is when this fishery shines.

When reeling the fish in near the boat, why does he keep clicking the reel into free spool? Never noticed this before. Thanks for the knowledge!
