Definitely not average, but I get what you’re saying. He looks like he’s just going through the motions to me, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing considering it’s BP, just can’t really tell how that bat plays if it’s only 75%. After watching some of his game clips, his bat speed and path are better in those clips, but still seems behind his peers like Khalil Watson for example. Looks super fluid defensively, but to me that bat looks years and years away if it will ever come. Hopefully adding some muscle and getting with pro coaches will improve his bat speed and getting quicker to the ball.
