It was Robin singing, you would love 'She keeps on Coming' on the same Album. It was their last album in 2001. They were working on another when Maurice, the brother who plays bass, died in January 2003.
This song is the tiltle song from their last album. The song is generaly about them going back to their roots from the 60's. Even the van in the video is a replica of their tour bus from that time. The man dressed as a lady is their long time friend David English
This was their final single and video, from their final album in 2001. Maurice passed away unexpectedly at the start of 2003, and though Robin wanted to continue the group as a duo, Barry made the decision to end the Bee Gees. Robin passed away in 2012, leaving Barry as the only remaining Bee Gee left.
Robin took lead in most of the earlier, prior to disco, songs. After they got back together it seemed Barry was taking lead but then it was the disco era. After disco they often split the song, each taking a verse. Personally I prefer Robin’s voice and gravitate towards the songs he takes lead or has the chorus which usually make the song, such as in For Whom the Bell Tolls. Fortunately Robin also had a solo career at the same time and made exceptional music.
This is title track from their last album in 2001. Said this is their life story in a video. There is a great video the making of this video. That is Robin taking lead. Great reaction. This is such a fun song and video. There are so many good songs on their last album. Some of them are: She keeps on coming, Sacred Trust, Walking on air and Wedding Day ❤
Robin took the lead in this song. From their last album. This marks them in about their 43 year of being a group. The “making of This is where I came in” tells all about this song and video and the meaning. You should hear this song live. Maurice was on the guitar. When they perform it live, Barry and Maurice will be on the guitar. Also…Barry said the person who lead the song was the one who brought the idea to the group. So you can tell who was the “lead” writer by who leads the song. Robin was the lead writer on this song.
Check out their live performance on Arsenio Hall in 1991, it is phenomenal. They did two completely different songs, one with Robin singing the lead in When He's Gone and the other with Barry singing the lead in To Love Somebody.
Except for the Saturday Night Fever years, Robin is often the star. Check out Bee Gees - Kiss Of Life and Bee Gees and Bee Gees - Closer Than Close to see two other newer Bee Gees songs where the two other brothers also get to sing lead.
Hi …. Could you please react to “Thank God it’s Christmas” by Queen sometime before Christmas…. It was the only Christmas song they recorded. “A Winter’s Tale” is also a Christmas type song for the holidays. Thank you 💕

Robin❤ even when he got older .... My fave. Love all their decades of music. Especially 60s and 70s but it all sounds good.
Robin executed 💯 on all his songs. That man could sing.

Robin is the one you are referring to, Andy was their younger brother. Robin was always my favorite ❤❤❤

The brother wasn’t Andy,it was Robin. Andy had a solo career because he was so much younger than-his three brothers.

I have to disagree. Over all the years, Barry sang lead more often.
