What a fantastic documentary with beautiful music from the heart and a bonus was the English subtitles so we can appreciate what they are talking about, it would have been even better if subtitles could have been used to show the words of their songs. Thank you for a brief look into your fantastic world and wish all communities could be the same and the world would be a much better world.

The love of the Gipsy Kings/Los Reyes started in 1987 for me, after hearing their version of "Volare/Bamboléo, etc.", off a VHS tape, that I bought in the discount bin. It was a video EP, per se, with 5 songs. As a Sicilian immigrant who came to this fair land in 1962 I was transported back to my family, singing & laughing. Thank you. The love of their magical music endures to this very day. God bless the Gipsy Kings!

La dernière fois que j'ai pu voir de mes propres yeux, *CANUT* qui était venu en tournée, chanter avec *THE GIPSY KINGS*, sur stade au *GREEK THEATER*, heureusement que j'avais fait un extrèmement grand effort pour m'acheter des tickets pour pouvoir venir voir "*The Gipsy Kings*" *LIVE*, en vivant, sur scène au *GREEK* dans les collines entourées de grands sapins, encore vivants à cette époque là. Mais depuis, les sapins sont presque tous atteints d'une infestation d'insectes "*pine beetles*" qui sucent leur sapes et se multiplient sous leurs écorces, et se propagent en attaquant les arbres vulnérables avoisinants, appelés *REDWOOD PINES*. Ce superbe soir là, quand *CANUT* participais, il y avait la pleine lune, je penses, qui d'ordinaire, se dévoilait petit à petit dans le ciel du levant, de derrière les boiseries de grands sapins "redwoods" qui ont grandi dans les collines toujours droits et verts, avant l'arrivée d'une infestation devenue incontrollable depuis. Le gouvernement qui s'occupe des forêts, ne sachant plus quoi faire, pour essayer de controller la propagation de l'infestation a du ordonner aux forestiers d'arracher et détruire les skelettes de sapins sans feuilles où continuent à vivre les oeufs des prochaines générations de ces insectes meurtriers. Quand la grande pleine lune est arrivée vers le milieu du ciel pour le traverser de l'est à l'ouest, peu avant que CANUT avec ses cheveux noirs tirés en longue queue de cheval, habillé d'un pantalon "blue jeans", ceinturon avec superbe boucle brillante en métal, des souliers en style bottes de *COWBOY*, et portait une jolie chemise à manches longues de couleur, je dirais, bleue-vert turquoise. *CANUT* s'est positionné devant son micro au coin, a gauche du stade, derrière lui il y avait des tables noires de controles, et pianos electroniques, lui a commencé à jouer sa guitarre acoustique, et chantait en Espagnol: "*CAMINANDO*" *"... me voy, caminando, en la montaña donde naci...!*. Cela devait être au début des années 1990 environ. J'ai tant aimé sa voix, son style, son corps, son costume, sa queue de cheval, ses amis qui l'accompagnaient à chanter son répertoire, ce fameux soir là de pleine lune ... Je penses à *CANUT* toujours. Les quelques année suivantes, c'était *ANDRÉ* qui prenait la relève pour très bien chanter, lui aussi, *... CAMINANDO ...*, la chanson que *CANUT* avait chanté l'année precédente, au bas de la colline oû est situé le fameux *GREEK THEATER*. Ces jours-çi, grâce à la technologie du moment, je prends grand plaisir à te trouver sur *Google* et puis plus profondément je cherches à te revoir partout dans les fouilles de *YOU-TUBE VIDÉOS*, au moins, comme hier soir, Dimanche 07 Novembre, 2021, avant minuit, puisque je viens de rater votre concert de 2021, Samedi, le 06 Novembre; partiellement, par peur de me faire vacciner pour obtenir un *"COVID-19 PASSPORT"* que les salles de concerts obligent les audiences à présenter comme *LAISSER-PASSER*, à part payer des centaines de dollars américains pour s'acheter des tickets pour entrer, aussi pour garer son véhicule, et cetera...

Original is subtitled so I don't have a non subtitle version. This was done by mixing two videos, covering the original subtitles with a low resolution non-subtitled overlay manually an then subtitling to English. You can try the same, the low resolution version is on TH-cam too. I don't want to share the original out of respect of the publisher! If they don't like to have it online they can take it out of TH-cam.

They do... They do understand Spanish by heritage. They understand all but speak less as obviously they grew up in France. When they were interviewed at TV programmes in Spain or Latin America they managed to do the interviews in Spanish without any issue, with obviously a bit of a French accent.
Gipsy Kings are a group of flamenco, salsa, and pop musicians from Arles and Montpellier in the south of France, who perform mostly in Spanish, but also mixing southern French dialects.
