@@unobluitt4034sorry for the delay! I used prabh’s videos, I also read the ISACA manual, and the CISM book by Peter H. Gregory. I didn’t find the QAE database by ISACA that helpful. Good luck!!
Thank you Prabh for the Q&A. Your video was fantastic its concise and engaging. I also completed several practice exams from S-killcertpro for a week and reviewed their exam notes the day before the test. Nearly 70 to 80% of the questions were from these sets. Next stop CISSP 🙌
Hi - couple of questions? 1. Were the level of CISM questions similar to Skillcertpro? 2. Did you practiced questions from QAE or from any other sources ? Thanks in advance
Prabh, your ability to not only explanation of the question in depth for proper understanding for all but also provide insightful explanations is truly commendable. Your outstanding contributions are bridging crucial gaps in the Cyber Security domain, guiding numerous individuals to evolve into genuine cybersecurity practitioners. Keep up the excellent work!
Thanks, these videos really help! To everyone studying, the CISM material itself is not challenging in any way, it’s the ISACA exam questions that are designed to trick you and have you second guessing yourself, questioning your knowledge, and picking at your confidence. Don’t let them get the best of you and have you panicking. Definitely read the material, but the majority of your study time needs to be spent understanding and deciphering ISACA’s deception, as real world application has no bearing in this exam! Good luck to everyone!
Thank yoy for teaching me how to read and understand the actual questions and deduce the answers! I’m a highly technical person (not bragging) but I struggle around these kinds of questionging. Again thank you and hopefully I passed my CISM exam ❤
Dear Parbh, really you are great.. the most good thing is that your translating some complicated into simple one. God Bless you withe more and more sucess...
I recently watched Prabh’s video, and I must say it was a great learning experience. Prabh’s explanations were crystal clear, which significantly improved my understanding of various concepts that I had previously struggled with. I appreciate the effort put into creating such valuable content. Thank you, Prabh
I completed the.following courses on Udemy CISM domain 1 2 3 & 4 by Thor Pederson . CISM course by Hemang Doshi and now studying CISM course from cybrary from Kelly Henderson. Would this suffice or do I still need the ISACA CISM review manual ?. It is very costly and unaffordable. Please guide
@prabhnair - Thank you so much for this video, this helped me a lot to under the concepts of Cism, may I request you to make a dedicated video on what could be all the possible responsibilities of an information security manager from Cism exam perspective to get more vision on understanding the role better
Thank you, Prabh! I cleared CISM today! Since I cleared CISSP four months ago, it was relatively easy, and I used the CISM review manual, QAE, and coffee shots to prepare. All the best to future CISM aspirants!
You are awesome explaining, taking the test soon, your explanation has power to resolve all my answers "Think" Positive not the movie where Anil Kapoor always said which was not true but it was his blood group, which I love, but think before you answer what is asked, read all the answers before answering the question - what is it asking?
While I absolutely appreciate this great effort, I have one request for Prabh to consider. In some questions, the 'latest technology', 'training', 'cost benefit' options were inserted just like that which leave the final choice of the answer for somewhat easy guess. The options can be made even close. This is just my suggestion. But I truly appreciate the intent and hard work has been put up for the cause of aspirants. Commendable!
Hi Prabh, love from Malaysia. Your explanation and questions have been great, I agreed mutually with all of your answers, however for the VA key obj question (1.42.10), i find it debatable btwn A and D, reason being VA is done to identify potential threats, but answer D suggests that you are actually running a VA programme to detect flaws, which is definately not the case, just an opinion, cheers and thank you very much for your content, it has been wonderful.
Also 2.01.00, I beg to differ, the word ALL is explicit, no senior management will aprove all initiatives, based on my experience on dealing with senior management, the first thing the look at is the potential outcome/benefits of implementing something, second thing would be consolidation based on previous projects completed, please take a look on this, nevertheless, you're the guru, just advocating an opinion here.
Thanks for the great video! I'm just starting out with CISM and reviewing sample questions to gauge the exam's difficulty. One thing I noticed is that many instructors who offer CISSP courses also offer CISM, but I haven't seen many who teach both CISSP and CISA. Is there a reason for this trend, or are CISA and CISSP not considered complementary certifications?
Why is C wrong in the following question: What is the primary purpose of BIA? @1:49:28. It is almost literally quoted in the book CISM study guide (Mike Chapple): The business impact analysis (BIA) is a formal process designed to identify the mission essential functions within an organization and facilitate the identification of the critical systems that support those functions. It is all about identifying what is important to an organization, helping stakeholders understand something is not even mentioned. Could you please explain?
@@PrabhNair1 Thank you for your swift response! Do I understand correctly then, that the question supposes the BIA has already been done? And then it would make sense to me that explaining to stakeholders is the right answer. Since the identifying phase is already over.
Thanks, sounds really nice content! Just one question: are these 70 questions real questions taken by exam or have been built just for this video content (obv in a similar way to the real ones)?
Dear Sir I'm seeking your assistance regarding my preparation for booking the Exam. I plan to become an ISACA member this month and schedule the exam for June. I've completed the course from Cybrary and other instructors, including all your videos on CISM available on TH-cam. Additionally, I've tackled around 1000 questions. I'm also considering purchasing the CISM Exam +1000QS & Explanations 2024 from Udemy, unless you suggest otherwise. One concern I have is that I haven't yet reviewed the CISM exam content outline even once, nor do I have any plans to do so. Do you think this plan seems adequate? Thank you for your guidance.
