Al i have watched most of your videos and you have a well grounded family that works hard to make your goals of a good life possible, you are a good influence for most people to follow in a farming culture it is not a part time job it is a all time job if done right and you are just what the doctor ordered for sure. It is fitting challenge to engage is in this type of life and you will do just fine and your relationship with olivia is out of this world, you are a real mans man.

The first video I saw of Lumnah acres I said to myself, "What kind of man squeals when he finds flowers on his tomato plant?" and my brain replied,,,,"YOU, you're the kind of man who squeals when he finds a flower on the tomato plant." And I've been addicted to the channel ever since. I love Figaro, and the goats, the girls, Pluto. Gina is funny and Livvie is beautiful. I'm so hooked . I miss sausage and links but the less said about that the better.

You can always crack eggs in a bowl first to make sure you don't get shells in your batter. Also avoids putting bad eggs in the mix too.
Crack the eggs into a separate bowl to eliminate the chance of getting egg shells in your mixture. It also provides protection against an unknown bad egg.
Yes, Michael. I agree with you about the channel. I’ve watch them a while now and the kindness, goodness and warmth Al & Gina portray makes it a most wonderful channel. The brownies look delicious- my grandson’s favourite thing to cook with grandma 👵
Pork looks scrummy- I like roast mixed veg too. Instead of mincing the garlic, try cutting a whole garlic bulb in half and roasting with the veg. It goes soft and sweet and imparts it’s flavour to the rest of the dish. When it’s roasted it can be squished out of the skins like a paste and tastes lovely.
My Granddaughter loves to cook with me (her Mom not so much, she has always been a more independent doer). We Love doing the garlic as you said YUM!
Am going to try that, just never thought of doing the whole garlic. Love roasted veggies. No one like to cook with me, I didn’t want a mess made and always just cleaned as I cooked. Just did it with out thinking.

I am a grammy also. Seeing Him and Olivia cooking together, caring for the animals together, warms my heart beyond words!!!! Seems today, people have lost the knowledge of just how important this type of relationship is. I bet my life, that whomever Olivia desides to spend her life with, will be a person of value, morals, and love! Because her dad instilled in her, just what that looks like...and that she is worthy of nothing less! So beautiful!!!!

Good morning. Noticed Olivia struggling with the bowl if you put a wet towel under the bowl it will not move. You can also do this with a cutting board as well.

Roasted celery with gravy, salt, and pepper to to with carrots and potatoes. Yum!! When I make roast with veggies and gravy, I combine all of the leftovers together to make stew.

But he seems to be pretty smart, and is taking to housebreaking pretty quickly. He really is bonding with all of you very well. He sure is sweet. So is Pluto.

Your puppy is so gorgeous. I am watching your videos to cool myself down. We are in the middle of the 3rd intense heatwave since Xmas eve. 40 C degs here in Australia today. Our climates are so extreme and have their own challenges. I am SOOOOO over summer, we have broken many records this summer and only had one day out 32 days not in the high 30s and 40s. We don't have snow where I live so I found it fascinating to watch you remove the snow with car plough. Never seen that before.

I've had a ministry of cooking a monthly meal for the local homeless shelter for the past 13 years. I plan a menu and my church helps out by bringing ingredients for the meal. This month I made a double batch of your brownies and another girl brought vanilla ice cream. Yum! Everyone was so happy. So it was a big hit!

Go to Lowe's and buy some Flex Seal for the hole in the red bucket. We used it on a hole in our stock tank, and it works great. We sealed the outside. It seems great no matter what the temperature us outside. Stay warm and safe while doing your feeding.

Got my first cup of coffee as we do the morning chores. The creaking snow tells me that it is pretty cold outside . Moose gives us the morning wake up call . Moose sure has a lot of voice for such a little feller.
I saw Tanner perk up and come to you when you spoke his name. So he appears to have learned who Tanner is . A quick learner .
My egg production has doubled ! Now , I'm getting two eggs a day . I don't toss my frozen eggs. I thaw them and use them for baking. I would have used that frozen egg in the brownies .

Al super impressed with the diversity of meals you prepare. Most men that contribute to the cooking in a family have a few meals that they do. I have never had roasted celery only have it in a dish like meatloaf, stuffing, soups or raw but I will give this a try!

You can never go wrong with lots garlic, but I like that you went easy on the onions. I save my leftover prepped green onions from last night’s supper, it will get used for sure. have you tried this combo: warm brownie, small scoop of vanilla ice cream, warm Hershey’s choc. syrup and whipped cream? its heavenly.
