Beryl strengthens into a category 5 hurricane, warning issued for Jamaica

As of Tuesday's 5 a.m. Advisory from the NHC, Hurricane Beryl has strengthened into a category 5 hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 165 mph. The storm has entered the Caribbean Sea after causing widespread damage to the Windward Islands.

Beryl is a category 5 Hurricane. It has confirmed wind gusts that exceed 155 MPG!

Beryl is nor has it ever been a cat 5 hurricane. its max wind gusts are only 81kts.

The data they are using to report this is from a plane that flies through the hurricane and takes many measurements including wind speed. They are the called Hurricane Hunters and work under The National Hurricane Center. "To perform their mission, the Hurricane Hunters have 10 WC-130J aircraft. These Super Hercules aircraft are equipped with palletized meteorological data-gathering instruments." IT VERY MUCH IS A CAT 5 HURRICANE! Don't listen to youtube comments and don't listen to me either go google it yourself.
