I prefer listening cause the reciters have better voice than me , but the reading of quran by yourself is more effective not like you hear like you read
I recite the Qur’an and I know the meaning of every word because I am an Arab and I study it
Then the Messenger of God loved to hear his companions recite it to him, and he would say, “I would love to hear it from someone else.”

I prefer both listening and reading the Quran, the Reading is more rewarding cuz you will be rewarded for each letter you read.

Alhamedllah I do read between 4-5 chapters of the Holy Quran daily & listen daily to the Holy Quran as well , for each letter you read Allah sbw give one 1⃣ deed × 🔟 so will be thousands of deeds put in your afterlife bank, so read & listen to Holy Quran daily definitely makes you feel so good and makes you closer to Allah your day will be so blessed inshallah much happier........
