This is great! Thank you so much Dr Philip. In the past couple of days, I was struggling to find video tutorials on this subject, now I'm on the right place. Keep up the good work and God bless you
Thank you for the video. I'm looking to have basic knowledge on Atlas.ti and I'm hopeful that your videos will help me judging from the content and presentation of the "getting started" video. Much appreciated
You're very welcome! I'm glad you found the "Getting Started" video helpful. Atlas.ti is a fantastic tool, and I'm confident that with the basics covered in the videos, you'll be able to navigate and use it effectively for your projects. Thank you for your kind words-I truly appreciate your support!
This is brilliant. I am so grateful. A quick question please- I have fieldnotes as well as interview transcripts. How do I link the participants from the fieldnotes to their interview ?! Many many thanks !!
Thank you! You could upload the field notes for each participant separately. You then create a group called 'Type of document' and group them into two: 'Interview' and 'fieldnotes' document.
Love this! So helpful. In the third year of my dissertation study, I also watched your videos on NVIVO. Which do you recommend learning for a qualitative research study that uses surveys (with open-ended questions) and semi-structured interviews?
Please tell me the appropriate qualitative sampling technique and data collection method for the community based mixed method study titled with consumption of ultra proceceed foods and associated factors among preschool children
I created an AI tool for researchers doing a Mixed method study. You can ask the same question and you will review a very good answer. Here is the link: chatgpt.com/g/g-8u8RFk22H-mixed-methods-design-decision-tool
Hi Philip, thank you for showing how to use Atlas, I was wondering, If I use AI, wouldn't it show in my work as AI plagiarism? (from turnitin for example)
It may show but if you cite it and show how you used AI to help you analyze your data, you will be fine (see: apastyle.apa.org/blog/how-to-cite-chatgpt). However, please check with your institution to see their policies about the use of AI for research.
