That Signature Dark Energy Mark I ride is one of the best rides, if not THE best ride i have ever played / listentd to. I own it in 22" and it's A DREAM!
Thats so great. MKnorr at his best. So tasteful, so much "art" in his playing. And Knorr & Paiste is the perfect Kombination. The mk 1 - Ride sounds wonderful.
Yes indeed, I had the pleasure to learn from the Master himself. It was such a great time and I learned a lot from him. If you ever have the chance to get lessons from René please take this chance immediately.
Awesome playing and the drums sound is beautifully engineered . I play Zildjian but damn videos like these make you reconsider your choices. The ride and the swish are amazing.

I have listened and watched this several times now just because it is so perfect..this sounds so damn good...so well mixed..so well played and as a result the sounds are displayed and demonstrated so perfectly Paiste should push this vid /search result / whatever as far up and then even further in every and any algorithm they possibly can. Seriously I don't care what style you play...LISTEN TO THIS AND TRY TO TELL ME IT IS NOT PERFECT
Wow they are some incredibly musical sounding cymbals, brought to life with some amazing, creative playing. Matthias has chosen a perfect selection of cymbals for his style of playing. I already have my own dream Paiste cymbal setup in my head (as Paiste are not cheap I will just have to buy them one at a time...not a problem when I can only use an electric kit at home, so only need real cymbals for studio/rehearsal room practice if want to avoid the crap house cymbals). But this video has turned me onto a few more Paistes that I hadn't looked that closely at before...namely the 22" Masters Swish and 18" PSTX Swiss Thin Crash.

Couls you or someone provide me woth that Ride's specs..how to buy? how much? size ? etc? I assume you produce these to help sell more of your great product....help US OUT?!?!?!?!
thanks for watching the clip. I mainly play Fusion/Jazz music and therefore the rack toms are tuned higher. If I play a Rock production the drumheads & the tuning would change to a lower pitch. But it's all a matter of personal taste I think, right? :-)

There's a lot of good videos of drumming and Paiste cymbals but this might be my favorite.
These toms are tuned to perfect intervals with just the right amount of sustain and resonance for each drum, giving each its own distinct voice!
