I wish some developer makes a Jurassic park game with stealth and suspense, sneaking through, puzzling, Alien isolation type of stuff... That way we can truly feel how terrifying it can be in an abandoned park full of prehistoric animals just like it is in the movies and books
I mean, I'd argue that that was exactly what Jurassic Park: The Game was. Though, the only difference was that it was a story mode game and not as free roaming as isolation is. Which I guess does make Isolation more scary lol. But I do remember feeling a lot of suspense and tension while playing the game. It felt like anything could jump out at any moment. But yeah what you just suggested would be even cooler. I just hope the story is good as well.
Nah...more like truly overrated by people these days with nostalgia goggles. Truly ahead of it's time is 'Trespasser' which was just too much for the PC hardware that was available at the time.

A lot of these games were awesome in their time. I loved JP for the SNES and Sega CD, and both regular and rampage edition for the Sega Genesis when I was a kid. They had a lot of things in them that were from the novels and I always thought that was great. They were great games for their time. I knew Trespasser was a complete mess even when I was younger, but for its time it was still cool to have that immersive world with all 3D graphics etc. The sounds and voice-overs were the best parts of that game. I spent hours on it. Chaos Island was one of the first real RTS's I played and it was so much fun. Also Operation Genesis in 2003 was and still is an AMAZING game!
There really needs to be a good modern horror/survivor video game where somehow you are left on the island alone or something crazy like that with an open world environment. There's a lot of potential in Jurassic Park games I think.
5:16 To this day this is one of the most impressive games that pushed the limits of its hardware in my opinion. Up there with Conker's Bad Fur Day, Shadow of the Colossus and The Last of Us.

Jurassic Park - 1993 The Lost World: Jurassic Park - 1997 Jurassic Park 3 - 2001 Jurassic World - 2015 Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom - 2018 Next Movie: Jurassic World Dominion
There was also the handheld by Tiger where you played as Tim and Lex. I dont remember the year but it was definitely apart of my childhood. Great list none the less!
I would really like to see another JP platformer/adventure game with newer graphics. JP Rampage and The Lost World were both such great games, it's a shame we don't see more JP games like them these days.
Dude, all the hours I'd spend on these: Chaos Island, Dino Defender, Danger Zone, Dinosaur Battles, Island Attack, The DNA Factor, The Lost World (PS) & my 1st and personal favorites; The Lost World (PS) & Warpath. Seriously. I was only 7, I still remember when my dad bought me the PlayStation and both games for my birthday. Being so young, I had no FLIPPING idea what I was doing, but was having too much fun to care. It’s all coming back, man.
Me and my childhood best friend played the 1993 SNES Jurassic Park game all the time. When Operation Genesis came out we were blown away. Then Jurassic World Evolution... I’m glad I made it this long to be able to play this game. Who knows if I will be for the next one.
On the Sega version you could play as the raptor. I used to eat the compys when I did. There was another JP game on Sega as well, but I didn't see it listed.
As a kid, I spent all of my tokens on the Jurassic Park Arcade every time when I would go to Chuck E. Cheese. Also, my friend had warpath and I remember my friends and I all swarming at his place to fight each other with the dinos. I didn't realize there were so many other games though. Great video!
