There's a sanctuary I found for deinos, find the massive swamp and locate where the water/swamp meets the damn, go to the right and you'll find a very deep riverbed. There's a log you can hide in and grow 'till max size, plus fish spawn everywhere in that area. It's how I got to 100% growth without killing any players.

To be honest there are basically no issues in this update except for literally one: for some reason depending on the server one random water source will expand it‘s actual swimming „hit box“ causing entire areas of the map to be unreachable since your Dino will start swimming in the air. Also in the patch notes it says that the grouping system has been temporarily disabled either through a glitch or something along those lines.
I wouldnt judge how strong every animal is right now.. we had the same discussion in legacy years ago. They try to establish a meta for every update. if deino was ultra strong like its supposed to be right now, there would be nothing to fight it, since there is nothing as strong ingame yet. When other high tier dinos drop, they will buff it, no worries there.

Aight so JUST for my fellow Pesky subs out there here is a guide on how to get into servers easily: Find the server you want to join and it has to be a server with atleast one empty slot. Now click on the server just once and you'll see connect to the right of your screen. Now you wanna open up steam, click ¨view¨ in the top left corner, then click servers, now select The Isle as the game you're trying to get into in the bottom left, now find the server that you have clicked on in the game, click on it and ¨connect¨ in the right bottom corner (in the steam servers thingy not in game) when you have done that you should be able to see how many players there are in the server and some other stuff about it, it should say ¨game info¨ in the top left corner. Now you want to tab back into The Isle then find the ¨game info¨ tab from steam that popped up when you clicked on the server you're trying to get into in the steam servers. Access the tab by simply holding down the keys alt and tab, find the ¨game info¨ tab, now tab into it whilst still being able to see The Isle in the background now you should be able to drag the tab around on your screen by hovering your mouse cursor right at the top of the tab, bring it wherever you feel like will bring you the easiest access to clicking on the connect button in game. You should see that on the ¨game info¨ tab it says: Players 110/110, you want to keep pressing refresh until it says for example: 109/110, and if it says that you click connect on the button in The Isle, and if it doesn't work the first time it WILL work the second. I hope that made sense I am not a native english speaker so if there's anything confusing please let me know. Also promise me you won't spread this around too much for this is forbidden knowledge
I was playing a game as deino and I would sit on land and be bait while a full grown would wait underwater and if anything tried to attack me cause I was super small they would get eaten
advice: if you're in a shallow water like at the end of the video and you're small enough that your deino is still swimming you can sprint and it doesn't cost any stamina, with that you could easily escape that big deinos who have to walk which makes them slower and to catch up to you they would need to run without guaranteed kill

so i hear people talking about being full grown as deino and i though that they were going to make it so there was no actual size limit (or it would take so long to get there that it would seem limitless) and you would keep getting bigger until you die? Because that is how crocidilians grow irl im pretty sure. i think there is a size cap in there genetics but it takes a long time for them to reach it, and they become mature way before they reach the full potential size. I cant remeber when i heard that but i think i remember them talking about it in the dev blogs or anthomnia did.

im assuming if they add the mechanic where the deino doesn't stop growing until it gets to big and dies. the bigger it will get the more it will weight which will allow it to grab bigger prey such as stego etc

With the carrying babies, what if when u press to carry a baby you have to send them a request and if they say yes u carry them, if they press no then u won't carry them and there will be a request cool down so u can't spam request, just a suggestion tho (damn I wish I could play this game but my mom's pretty much broke and has to save for bills x.x)
