- This is part 1 of a series of videos called Icteridae Explorations where the Icteridae family of birds is showcased (Orioles, Blackbirds, and Meadowlarks.) The stars of this video are a male and female Scott's Oriole (Icterus parisorum), an uncommon bird. The male takes a bath in the sparkling sun of the Sonoran Desert of Arizona, while the female tries to drink from a hummingbird feeder. Icterids feed on insects, fruits, and wild grain mostly but all Orioles love sugar water feeders, and the Scott's Oriole is no exception!
Another fantastic film. Well done. Terry

+klnaraa74 thanks so much!
As usual, perfect music to go with this vid. I'm not an avid birder, but know enough to be dangerous. That is a great sighting.
+smetlogik Thanks. I'm the same sometimes -- these things with wings can get even trickier than those with scales!
But great video, there are Orioles all over my yard
+ShadowStriker 245 thanks! more on the way
