  • Hi lovelies
I just wanted to do a very honest flip of my Hobonichi Weeks and talk through how it's working for me, and how I use it in conjunction with my other books.
    I hope you enjoy.

I took my Weeks with me when my mum was in hospital and i took notes of what doctors were saying to us, her bp readings, comments mum made.
3 months on ..its such a valuable piece of information to keep. This is a reminder of how far she's come.
That really cemented how valuable this planner is.
I'll also add my own health updates too.

That’s excellent. Exactly, such a good resource. I love mine so much for that reason. Although my writing is a little hard to read sometimes 😅

Your tracking is really interesting. I find it useful to see info on paper as it often differs to in my head, great to see patterns and compare/look back on. My friend has Vasculitis. I was listening to The Glucose Godess this morning talking about glucose spikes and interrupting sleeping if you want to add another tracker 😆

Oh how is your friend coping with vasculitis? The flare ups are so hard. I’m going to add a skin care tracker soon. I’ll take a “look” at the Glucose Goddess. Thank you, hope you’re well 💝

She had bad ear infection for months, terrible joint pain (couldn’t fasten own bra) and ended up in hospital with concern about kidney function. She was diagnosed with vasculitis and had short course of chemo. Her daughter was only 4 at the time which was tricky. She’s managed the past 6/7 yrs by looking after herself and resting when needed. She hasn’t had too many flares up but she’s very careful to listen to her body. She’s much older than you. I think it’s hard when you are younger to let your body restrict your life. We all tend to push it, until forced to rest. Maybe the trick is to still ‘do’ but do things that help rest/recharge. Good luck finding the correct balance for you xx

@@traceybeaumont8535 oh the poor thing. That sounds like a huge struggle for her at the beginning. It’s great to hear that she has it mostly under control. I did too, I thought I was done with it but it’s come back with a pretty major flare up now. I’m definitely learning to rest and I totally agree, finding the balance of rest and do is important but yes, some of the “do” things need to be things that help us recharge. For me, that’s spending time with my friends. ❤️‍🩹

It’s natural that we all push the limits until our bodies say ‘no more’. You work so hard and I know getting enough sleep is challenging. That’s a lot with our additional health challenges. You will find a balance for you x
