Hi there😊 I'm just a young man who's been on this faith journey with our Lord and Saviour for awhile now. Just started working and I feel the strains you do. I used to think the in the same manner as you, but I quickly realised that the commandments that come from Jesus are the same as the church. So, a simple question to ask, who is truly responsible for us being taken care of? If we were to follow the commandments, does that responsibility fall to the church or God? I would dare say, neither - because it is on us to take care of ourselves and rely on God. Even Paul would say that in his preaching of the gospel, he worked hard to be of no burden to anyone (1 Thess 2:9), an exemplary way to conduct while evangelising. I understand many times we may fail to find the right support when we need them, especially in a church, but that does not mean God cannot be relied upon. @@roywoo7650 no. i think you are brainwashed by the church as a cult !! of course the ultimate responsbility to take care of its sheeps is God. He is not called the good shepherd for nothing. Unfortunately many over zealous Christians don't think with their brain but only their feelings. They keep saying must keeps the number up but how to when there is no enough good shepherd to go around. In my opinion all these are just irresponsbilie snoberry meant to increase their power and influence !!
