In my humble opinion, “winning” is completely extricating oneself from the vicious web spun by the parasitic relationship with NPD individual or group. Rediscovering one’s spiritual core and moving forward with one’s life with joy and vigor.
When grey rocking a narcissist, it usually "confuses them," because the other person isn't responding the way they want. I'm sure there are instances where the narcissist does view it as a win, but I think it's probably rare.
It doesn’t work on me. Been dealing with narcissistic people my whole life 😂😂😂 they are late bc I am a seasoned veteran! They will just end up feeling blocked and ghosted. Not my type to even care about 😂 pure heart equals love trash heart equals rejection

A narcissist will blame the other person for their own behavior. Stay strong. We're rooting for you.

I'm glad this helped. It's great that you're taking steps to deal with the situation.
Is grey rocking ever viewed as a win by the narcissist (especially covert narcissists)?
