Hi Maria: Thank you for featuring these two new Chanel illuminating face powders. I really like the look of the coral shade on you. It’s like a warm version of the gorgeous LE Fantaisie blush that was part of Chanel’s spring collection. I agree that he pearly white shade is lovely on your eyes whereas it is a bit cool and stark for your skin tone - I suppose you could tone it down by blending it with a loose powder prior to applying it. Or you could apply it under your foundation. I do have a question regarding the formula of these illuminating powders: is there glitter? (I love the Hermes “H” highlighter that you used for comparison because it is glitterless, so I am comfortable wearing it out in daylight.) Thanks again!
Hi, the coral is really beautiful and I am so pleased I have got this in my collection. It is like a warm version of the Fantaisie!! Yes, I do prefer the Pearly shade on my eyes. There doesn't appear to be any glitter in the Coral, however the Pearly white does but it is in no way chunky or can be felt like some glitters but if you love the Hermes formula then you may not like the Pearly one 🦋

Thank you so much for the great review. I am not a highlighter person. My first tries were with VB stick, and the Hermes Rose Atacama. Neither of them seemed to suit me. This spring Fantaisia De Chanel limited addition blush absolutely WOWED me, which leans more on the warm pink tone. I bought two to have a backup. Since then I have been searching for a similar product in a peach tone. Can you tell me how the Fantasia and the Coral Illuminator compare? The color of the coral on you is stunning.

Hi Maria, thank you for showing multiple ways to wear these highlighters. I have a white highlighter from Charlotte Tilbury and the shade is tricky, even on my light skin. I'm going to try it on my eyes. The coral highlighter looked particularly stunning on you! I'm going to be swatching my collection to see if I have anything close. Chanel's Fleurs de Printemps blush/highlighter release comes to mind as does a Bobbi Brown holiday highlighter trio palette that included a peach shade.

Maria it looks beautiful on you. I am tempted to get the coral one. I am really very picky what i buy from makeup, this year. Only very unique and innovative ones, will make the list😜 like Chanel le bronzing cream and Surratt bronzer, absolutely my favorites , Prada makeup, i just had to get it. Chanel new collection eyeshadows its nothing so unique, but this illuminator…. Now how would you compare this coral one with Hermes new blushes, in the sense of illumination factor. The coral is so pretty!
The pearly white is too light for me. I have Hourglass Ethereal light and it’s too light/cool on me and the pearly white looks like it would be even more stark on me. But it is pretty on the eye.

Can’t tell from the video- I’ve watched it 3 times. Is the precious coral orange? I have pale, cool toned skin and orange and terracotta looks bad on me. At certain angles this looks like a peachy-pink, other times very orange and I would appreciate your opinion?
