Thank you guys for the love and encouragement on the short version cover! I'm so happy to finally deliver the full! And MAN THE LYRICS!!!!! They are so impactful and fitting ♡ did I mention I love 86 Q_Q After the anime finished and I finished crying to the last episode and LilaS, I picked up the light novels ahahaha. Again, I know it doesn't fit my usual vocal style, but I'm so happy to contribute a small tribute to this new series that I've fallen in love with! Hope you enjoy! ♡

I would argue this song is actually from Shin's perspective if the lyrics are a .... I don't want to say direct translation but capture the feeling from the original song.
This makes me so happy. Every day that passed with you not releasing this made me happier, as I knew you were giving it the time it needed. Sure enough, it’s gone far beyond my hopes. It feels like you’re more comfortable with the song, and it makes it sounds much more natural and pleasant! The only thing I wish for is that the bit at the end of the bridge didn’t have to be removed, but I don’t see how you could fit it in naturally. I’m referring to the “boku wo yuruseru boku wo… kyou wo…” that leads into the instrumental, which I saw as “I’ll choose to forgive myself… and I’ll choose to forgive today” since the lines before talked about all these bad things the singer had done because they resented “yesterday”. Again, the translation you ended up using works quite well anyways, and it sounds great, so it’s not a big deal to me. More than that, I’m just so happy that what might end up being the only ever full english cover of this song is this good. Thank you so much for this.

thank you so much! the time varies! It depends on the song complexity, if I have to make the instrumental, how hard it is to sing, etc etc. it's a lot of work though! one day I'll time it and see haha! ♡

Your voice is such a good match for the 86 soundtrack. Got chills right at the beginning. (Adds this to music playlists). You're 86 covers are a regular for me whenever I'm out, I probably listen to each of them at least twice every outing, once on the way there and once on the way home...it can get a little awkward feeling those rush of emotions on public transit through lol.

Maybe I’m the only one who interpreted it this way, but the last lines asking if we can be people still seems like someone who’s just so tired of fighting that even though this new place they went to is exactly the same as they left they desperately just want to stop and still feel proud of themselves. “Can I stop fighting and still be considered a good man”
