In this video I walk you guys through my process of washing a matte or satin painted car. The processes isn't all that different from washing a glossy car as long as you wash a gloss car with the right procedures. For matte, just make sure you're not using any "gloss enhancing" products. I maintain a matte finish GLC43 and Mercedes supplied me with their soap in order to not void the warranty. Unless the vehicle is paid off and the owner doesn't care, no way would I use anything besides their soap. Just isn't worth the risk.

Matte ( Frozen ) paint is Magnificent! However, washing technique is totally different than regular paint. Recorded is special shampoo for the Matte paint ( AngelWax, Gyeon .l ) You are to close with the pressure washer, if you like the paint to last longer. Car manufacturers, BMW, Mercedes and Detailers They don’t recommend using any Detailer products. Drying only with the Metrovac or similar. There is also Ceramic coating just for the matte paint.
I spoke to Mercedes regarding ceramic coating and was told that matte finish cannot be ceramic coated. I'm not totally sure if that's correct and am looking into it.
Hey dude great Video can you please sent me the color name and code for the paint? have an old bmw that would look great in that! Would really appreciate it!
Get an Ego if you haven’t made a purchase yet. 650 CFM or higher. Ego easily makes the best electric blower. If gas, can’t go wrong with STIHL. But there may be better gas blowers, I’m not certain. Toro comes to mind.
Hmmm... you should first sponge the car to get all the debris off, before you hit it with a power washer! Think about it - the high pressure is just pushing a lot of dirt into the paint!
@@AntonioLopez-uj7pu What you should do, and what I do on my Magno GT, is a soap wash first. With the attachment you put on your hose that adds detergent. Power wash is a really bad idea.

Your BMW is like "me next", the Raptor is like "Oh hell no"!
I thought you need to use matte specific soap for matte paint?
You should use it, but he's right about avoiding certain ingredients is why they have special soap.

Nice video but what's the brand of the soap you used ?

My car is black satin and man it's been a labor of love
The car looks clean
Did you set your foam canon on purpose to be so thin ?
I don't see where this soap is matte finish safe?

I’ve been washing my cars wrong all these times lmao
I thought you couldn't use IronX on carbon ceramic brakes as it causes damage. Can you confirm if this is true or a myth ?
Can you kill the grass when you wash your cars at home? Lol cause I saw all the water and soap going down to the grass
I guess it depends what you use lol. None of my soaps or anything ever have.
You foam it dry? Or wet first to blast dirt off?
I want this color paint not wrap what do or did u tell the painter or vise versa wat did he tell u he did
What pressure do you use on the the pressure washer?

That thing is rather loud isn't it?
This guy reminds me of Bryan Casella
Your wash pressure is too close when you wash it.
Risk of damage the paint finish...
Pressure washers, products and matte paint are not a good combo. Just a hose and water.
Hi exoticars19
Hi Alfred

That car is NASTY!!!
Hmmm... you should first sponge the car to get all the debris off, before you hit it with a power washer! Think about it - the high pressure is just pushing a lot of dirt into the paint!
Disagree with you I have owned a satin black g63 since 2015 pressure of first then sponge otherwise you will scratch your paintwork !!!
There is more prolonged pressure with a sponge my guy. Stupid thing to do fluterra.
