- The world stood in awe when in 2018 a five-year old girl appeared in episode 1303 in the 13th season of “America’s Got Talent,” What was surprising about her wasn’t just her age and voice quality, but the fact that she chose to perform one of the most difficult songs to grapple with - Frank Sinatra’s “My Way.” She is reputedly the world’s youngest jazz singer, and her name is Sophie Fatu.

The mom is a narcissist and shows all throughout her videos clear favoritism towards Sophie. The older daughter has a beautiful voice, however the mom will not allow it!!! She deletes any and all comments whenever anyone brings this up!! It’s sad if you watch the videos how she’s thrown the older daughter to the side- leaving her at home while she travels and signs Sophie up for many shows!

@@dar7230 not going to debate what is going on there! There’s absolute favoritism- as a body language analyst and child psych- I can understand many can’t see it.
What an unnecessary.mean spirited and gratuitously rude remark! The mother is incredibly lovely and extremely talented in her own right. It is no wonder that her children are also very talented. I’ve seen some of their TH-cam vlogs and they’re a beautiful family. When one child takes center stage, it can be hard on the other children but the mom balances things out. Her daughters are simply different natured.
However, she is positive, nurturing and encouraging to both daughters.
I am the mother of a child actress too, and know several other stage mothers in the business. I can attest to the fact that the mother isn’t in any way egregious when it comes to dealing with 3 very different kids. . Being a stage mother is not an easy job, particularly when you have to let your own career take a back seat.
Sophie is clearly the better singer and she genuinely loves to perform-it’s obvious. Vivienne doesn’t have the same ambitions, but she’s a kind, supportive sister with a heart of pure gold. The son is also adorable. He is autistic and their mother manages all 3 kids with admirable dedication. She has also let her daughter Sophie take center stage in spite of her own talent as a musician.
I think it’s ridiculous that some people are so judgmental toward her because this isn’t the first time I’ve seen unkind critiques written mostly by other woman. She is correct to turn the toxic, negative comments off. . As a fellow stage mother, I wish I could be as patient as she seems to be with 3 children! Her kids are all well behaved, modest, respectful and happy which is indicative of good parenting. Saying hurtful things about the mother doesn’t mean that they are true.
