Thanks you for the hit up Deng Kuot, however the program was mainly an appreciation to "Kongor Legendary Singers" nor they oldest artists from both kongor generations past, present and emerging to be acknowledge for theirs God given talents which they praise theirs lands via they people within. Thus, the word 'Thanksgiving' is not too wrong to be use in this case, the expression of gratitude, especially to God for keeping most of our eldest artists safe until today date, that alone can dictate us, the members that community to "offered prayers in the name of "thanksgiving" for the role those uncle's, grandparents and grand grandfather played during their prime time until now by prising the community.
Hints, recognition, thanksgiving & appreciation are both possible words can be use in the previous program without any doubt brother Deng Kuot!
I hope, I have exhausted your question.
      Cheers and thanks!

@@maartwic-archivechannel1163 Hahaha Hahaha The Thanksgiving day annually national holiday in the United States 🇺🇸 and Canada celebrating the harvest and others blessings of the past year to come Americans generally believe that theirs Thanksgiving is modeled on a 1621 years ago harvest feast shared by the English colonist (pilgrims)of Plymouth and Wampanong people.

@@maartwic-archivechannel1163 many Native Americans (Americans Idina)don't celebrate the arrival of the pilgrims and others European setters to them,Thanksgiving is a reminder of the genocide of millions of their's people the theft of their Lands and the relentless assault on their Cultures and much more importantly you are using the wrong words for appropriate on Kongor.
