Ok great! I’ll be working on that tutorial soon. I am trying to keep a good balance, but when help arrives, you’ve got to take advantage of it, exhausted, or not! 🤪😅😊 The projects I’m currently working on are definitely earmarked for the holidays so there’s no time to waste! I took the two recent projects up to Patty’s place, the new shop, and she was excited and delighted with the designs so I’m going to make more of both of those for her shop . At the same time, I’m in the middle of preparing for the next delivery to the Emporium, which will also be for the holidays as well as a big batch of donations for those affected by the recent hurricanes so yes, I’ve been quite busy but like you said creating is the best distraction from all the craziness in our country right now! Creating is my safe and happy place, and I’m grateful to finally get back to it in a more consistent manner! Missy is doing great and her right knee is also healing up nicely… I’ve had her in a brace for over a month and on supplements! She had the same issue with the tendon but on her left knee last year so I knew exactly what was going on. I’ll give her a big hug for you! I trust that you are doing well and also preparing for the upcoming holidays. Did you ever try making the broom design? And how about the recent star creation? I’d love to see what you came up with if you’d like to share. Have a super day and thanks again. 💖

I can only imagine how exhausted you are,....on all the levels, and I hope you're taking care of you along the way. O M G!!! I know you understand the hard work involved for sure! Probably the best thing I did for myself was to have some crying sessions when needed as there really wasn’t much else I could do! I laugh now, but man, oh man! I appreciate your continued prayers as there is still such destruction in our beach communities… I actually attended a community jam session last weekend at one of the beaches and took some videos so I’ll be sure to send you some of the clips. My friend, Vic, is the one who is undergoing chemo right now which I have spoken of so I definitely wanted to support his efforts as it may be the last time I get to see him play! He’s such a talented musician and a good friend! He makes me laugh a LOT! What all have you been working on that’s keeping you from creating? How are your folks doing? My brother crossed over on October 30th.💔🪽 It was sudden and unexpected. I know you've been through the loss of family too, so you know where I'm at right about now. Still working my tail off on all the things that need to be done, and trying to process it all at the same time. So I have to collect myself and keep keeping on,...but definitely have my share of emotional overload and crying moments too. Art definitely helps me process my emotions n recenter. Unfortunately, no time or energy for creating right now, but it's nice to tune in to a video or two before bed to give my mind and heart a break. And nice to get a message from a friend too. Lol,...I was always a tomboy growing up n got along better with the guys too! 😂 Never really outgrew it either, now I'm 50 and running around with chainsaws and power tools,..... 😂,....maybe it's the Capricorn in me!
I'm happy to hear and see that your shed and patio are squared away and hope it all stays that way. I am interested in seeing a barrette made your way. I have made many beaded barrettes and one tip I will give you is that the edges of those blanks can be sharp so first thing I always did was go over the edges with an emery board. I am curious if those coffin nails soft enough to stamp. That could be interesting.

That black coffin nail would look awesome together with the silver colored solder. Maybe even a black rhinestone embedded in the solder. I have never seen coffin nails before but they are really intriguing and I would love a tutorial. Regarding the hair pin, I think it looks gorgeous , and it would probably sell like crazy. If you feel up to it, I would love to see how you made it.
