- "The Present" tells the story of a boy who rather spends his time indoors playing videogames instead of discovering what’s waiting outside. One day his Mum decides to get a little surprise for her son, which makes it hard for him to concentrate on his video game any longer.

When we launched this channel a few months ago, together with many of the best short film distributors in the world, we knew it would be a great project. Nevertheless we are very happy about our first 10000 subscribers! Yeah, I'm 30 seconds in and all I can think is if that were my boy and I saw that we'd be packing up the gamebox and all of the games and taking them down to a foster home or homeless shelter for HIM to donate and it would be the last bit of electronics he ever had. He'd be spending his now free time volunteering at the animal shelter until he was old enough to move out. Im seriously getting pissed off watching a cartoon. Lol

I almost skipped it but meanwhile I see the smile on that boy so I continued it,,, then I find out that they are same they both have no pair of toes,,, I like how the boy accept him... it made me think that dog are really lovable and loyal... 💜💛

I love this when the boy and dog go outside to play which was so sweet 🥹.
The only reason why the boy didn’t love the doggy that his mom got for him is when he saw that the dog had no leg he too didn’t have a leg also 1:03 1:06 .
I think he felt embarrassed 😳 that his mom got him a dog with no leg the same that he lost a leg.
Like if he took the dog for a walk people will start laughing at them both that they have no legs.
But then he realize it doesn’t matter what they say all he cares is having fun with the dog.
They had us in the first half..

Both of them are handicapped it's a perfect match.. we gave a kitten that was blind in one eye.. to a little girl that was handicapped missing half of her left arm.. she just turned 10.. the kitten follows her around like a dog.. the little girl would be about 13 right now.. not too sure about the cat

No, the moral is rather that animals can teach us to accept and adapt to our current Situation if we‘re not able to do that on our own.
The boy didn‘t really hate the dog itself, he just projected his negative feelings for his own condition onto the little gal.
