Houston only had to be told three times to not pick them up till he picked one up. --- There's a gal on youtube called Diggin Britt, in Texas, who is a bit of a deer whisperer. She has raised a few deer who's mothers were hit by cars. Her property isn't fenced in, so the deer can leave any time they want. One after he grew up decided to leave the ranch. A year later Britt saw him in the woods a couple miles away, walked out there and he remembered her and walked right up to her. It was pretty cool seeing that the buck was living a happy life out in the woods.

Huston looks so proud and so happy to see those little babies. He's going to be an amazing young man. Daniel, Please ask if you can take the littlest one to your farm when he's big enough. Not for food but just as a pet. He or she is a miracle and deserves to be on your farm. Congratulations Lucy. You did a great job.!

Mr Houston is such a nice man, just like everybodies grand dad. Loved that he let Houston drive. All country boys know how to drive before they're 10, and it was nice to see Houston doing the honors. Loved the vist, glad you have good neighbors out there in the country. The best life ever.

That's nice of you to let Daniel, Emily and Houston see the baby deer's Jimmy. pretty awesome you all got to see them when their not even one day old! I hope they will survive. I'll definatly have to watch Jimmy's videos to stay updated. I hope all the baby's get together with their mother all at once to nurse and sleep. Great video.

My old man used to watch Jimmys fishing shows years ago, but as a kid, it wasn’t my cup.
I have to say, Jimmy and his family are just great people. He really understands how incredibly special and unique this familial and fatherly bond he shares with this magnificent creature, and now her little ones. He’s as protective and concerned for their well being as if they were his blood children. He’s truly an example of what happiness, purpose, and love of ALL family looks like.

Some of my greatest memories as a child were spent with the "older" people and to this day I have incorporated those lessons and use them. Your kids are going to cherish the times spent with the Houston's and their "older" friends a hundred fold when they are adults. It's a fantastic legacy. Blessings always your way.

Loved seeing the Houston, EmmaLee and Daniel see Lucy's babies. I am surprised DeeJay didn't go too, she loves babies. That is so beautiful to have a pet deer. I don't eat deer meat but I understand they have to be thinned out for survival of the others. I am sure there was a learning lesson for the children.

Saw a set of triplets that were grown enough that they had lost their spots in central Ohio a couple of weeks ago. They were very curious about my dog, as we were on an early morning walk about 0530 before work. All three looked about the same size.

I'm a 63 yr old girl and I know who Jimmy Houston is. Grew up on a farm and their were 5 boys and 4 girls in our family. My Dad mostly controlled the TV and he was a hunting and fishing man, so I grew up watching Jimmy Houston. For enjoyment, our family did a lot of fishing. You can just imagine my excitement when I made a comment on Jimmy's channel and "OH MY GOSH" he responded. I ran into the other room telling my husband (who also grew up watching Jimmy on TV). I don't think my husband really believed me. It was cool and I won't forget it.

@GravityToy I see the concern over jumping off a boat that close to a newborn fawn, however, Houston would never hurt an animal on purpose unless they are hunting or catching fish. He's a good little boy that is being raised with respect for animals and for his elders. With so many out of control kids these days Houston and his sister and brother are 3 of the few that truly respect nature and everything about it. I think he made a mistake and shouldn't be called out for that mistake. I'm sure that off camera his dad told him not to do that again. Give a good kid a break.

I agree, Houston, as well as all children, can get excited & not always act perfectly, but that's a kid being a kid. I have 11 grandkids & a few chickens which my grandchildren love to play with & chase around my yard. They don't harm the chickens & they are doing a memory I also have from childhood.
