What a great video. Just what we needed to see before committing to buying. We have a t4 too, so another subscriber coming your way

The best thing about olpro tents is the oversized bag they come in which makes putting them away a doddle. Well impressed with ours .

Fantastic to hear you are happy with your Olpro, we used to have a Kampa inflatable tent and it was always a bit of a struggle. Once you get the hang of getting the air out of the beams I think it becomes easier 🤙

Volkswagen T4 Family we had a vango airbeam and it was a mare to get away when packing up. A lot less stress when away with the new one

Hope you enjoy it! We are all booked for our first trip next weekend, I'll try and get some video of it finally attached to the van :)

Can you use this just as a tent without needing a campervan ect ??

Our first cocoon breeze zips started to break, and seams started to come apart, after only 2 uses. A replacement was sent - on its second use one of the air beams popped, I was using the correct inflator and blow off valve.
Cheap crap plastic makes up the air a bag inside the beams - they will replace it with a poled version. I wouldn’t go air ever again.

I'm sorry to hear you had an issue with your Cocoon Breeze. We were able to use our Cocoon for 3 seasons before replacing it with a Loopo Breeze that we are still using. We too have now swapped to a poled awning as we found that the Hive Poled was much lighter and more practical than the Breeze version. All the best, John.

I wish they put the tunnel on the other side as most uk campers pitch front van faces the views

That is perhaps the one thing that would make this perfect. If you are lucky enough to have a California it’s the right way round, but for the majority of uk conversions it’s backwards 😂

I don't get that, isn't it better to have the boot opening near the door?

      @DavidGoldmanLDN 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@@Hadtobefirst I'd say that too - way more practical. But I've never used an awning before... Just swatting up before I purchase

Is this actually any good? All I see on the internet are paid promotions for Olpro.. The material doesn't look great - looks like it all needs to be stretched out. But that might be me focusing on style Vs substance

Apologies for the delay replying. The awning you see in the video is brand new out the bag. Over time the creases do drop out, and as with any tent it takes a few wet days for everything to settle in. As for paid promotions I’m not sure, we are brand ambassadors and received this awning to review, but we are not “paid” to promote their products and we have complete editorial control on our content. In our opinion, it’s a good awning for the price. You can spend more and get worse, but I don’t think you could spend less and get better.

I was sold on buying one of these however I have since looked at their trip advisor reviews and they are pretty bad . Really unsure now!

Great tent, abysmal company to deal with, quick to take your money, slow to supply.

    • @T4Family

I have no idea about your particular situation but I know that they have had a lot of shipping problems due to the Suez Canal blockage earlier this year, plus the whole industry is struggling with supply as a lot of the tent manufacturers switched to making PPE during the pandemic. I’m still waiting on an awning myself

@@T4Family my wife is a retail consultant and I work in logistics. You don’t sell what you cannot supply. You can sell what’s in transit, on the factory floor and in production or what’s going into but you don’t take money for products you simply cannot supply, it’s bad practice. Had at any point they’d said hey we aren’t going to be able to supply this item I could have looked elsewhere, as it stands the season will be done before I get all of what I paid for before it started 🤷‍♂️
