I use to hunt swamp rabbits in Missouri. The dogs were hot on on the rabbit and I watched it jump on a down tree then jumped off the log into the water and set there trying to fool the dogs.
I set for the longest time and finally I decided to shoot it because I was afraid I wouldn’t get a shot.
