It took them a while to get used to the tank. But in the last few weeks I have been finding a lot of eggs on glass and in the moss. I think I have around 40 fry (1 week old) and around 50 eggs in various containers. Now I just need to get them to sellable sizes.
I will release regular updates on all my projects. I am busy with creating breeding setups but as soon as that is completed I can focus more videos on the actual process of breeding. Cheers
This is so much fun! Thank you for taking us along as you set up these tanks! It’s nice to hear you talking and I appreciate the explanations. Have you had any luck with the lasers? And how are those beautiful beautiful beautiful guppies doing? And what about Mr. bulldog? Could we have baby bulldogs? Puppies?
I had no luck with Gold lasers yet but I have a lot of small Pygmy fry; 40 fry and 50 eggs waiting to be hatched. Mr. Bulldog is fine and he got new buddies in his aquarium; I will release that video soon. Cheers Jen
Nice and easy setups. What are the dimensions of the aquariums? I was thinking 60x20x20, but then the 27 litres doesn't add up. I will be transferring my surviving Ember Tetras, Pygmy Corys, Otocinclus and Guppys to their new home (UNS 45U) this week. I'll clean out the Dennerle 55l and redo it at some point.
I talked about both projects here th-cam.com/video/dWzRDDTitvU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=0kJWRCOk5hjQNDOa and I mentioned Pygmy Corydoras here th-cam.com/video/Ch7XP56TX8Y/w-d-xo.htmlsi=napSh5CPl5EGA6u6
Thanks for the interesting video. Question: Isn't it dangerous to put a Ramshorn snail in a breeding tank because it might eat the brood? Do you have any experience with this?
I never experienced that. Snails will eat only the eggs that go bad; so infertile eggs and eggs that catch fungus. Many breeders with years of experience use snails and shrimps to keep their eggs free of fungus. All my fluval hang on boxes that have unhatched eggs are full of snails.
@@keithtrestrail5003 I guess it depends of your water chemistry. My water is very hard. Did you breed them in tap water? What were your water parameters?

Super video! Zanima me rezultat jako. Imam jednu ženku i 3 mužjaka pigmy koridorasa i već dugo razmišljam da ih mrestim. Možda pokušam 😊

Looking forward to trying something similar for pygmy cories at some stage. This is a great reference video

@@IMaqua wow they don't mess around!
They were super easy to breed; as long as you meet few conditions they need. I wish the gold lasers were the same...
@@IMaqua Just gotta get that balance right as usual :D
@@IndoorEcosystem ...and a lot of patience.
I love Corydoras ❤.
Me too.
I really love your video, keep working on it and don't forget to update about the breeding ♥

Aquariums are custom made to fit my window sill. If I remember correctly the dimensions are 60x18x25.
do you have a follow-up video for this project?

You are welcome.
You do not need RO water to breed gold lazer.
