    Hey Andrii, thank you for sharing all that information with us. It is terrible what is happening in your country and I hope the fighting stops and negotiations begin. I remember the start of war in Slovenia, I was 18 then, which luckily didn't last long in my country, but unfortunately moved south to other ex-Yugoslavia countries and lasted for years. But what Balkans experienced during the 90s, your country has experienced in just a couple of days. Please, stay safe, wherever you are and best of luck!

      Hi Rado! Thank you for your support! Any war is horrible and Ukraine never wanted this war.
      I don't think any negotiations will help, as we say: “Agreements with Russia aren’t worth the paper on which they are written.” We have to get our victory, Putin has to die and maybe then we can relax for a bit and start rebuilding our country! ✊🏻🇺🇦

    Thank you for this useful overview of Ukrainian history. I am very sorry for the tragic and pointless loss of life and infrastructure that is being inflicted on Ukraine. I honestly thought that this kind of barbarism was ancient history in Europe. Even if Russia succeeds, they will have to deal with severely damaged infrastructure and a population that hates their guts. Imperialism never works in the long run. What a waste!
    I wish there is something I could say to help - but I will support our local Ukrainian community and donate to help refugees.
    You might be interested to know that Canada has 1.35 people of full or partial Ukrainian origin - the third largest in the world (behind Ukraine and Russia). We are on your side!

      Thank you very much for your support! I appreciate you helping Ukrainian community and doing donations! ❤️ Yes, Canada has a lot of Ukrainians. I have distant family in Toronto and friends in Vancouver. I think that there are a lot of Canadians of Ukrainian origin in Canadian Parliament as well!

    From a Mexican in the US: I loved your video about the cineteca in Mexico City. I hope that my Ukrainian friends are safe and that this invasion stops soon. Unfortunately, most people in Mexico don't know much about Ukraine and have only a very vague knowledge of Russia. I think that this video is an excellent way to change that. 🇺🇦🇺🇲🇲🇽

      Hi! Thank you for your comment! I'm sorry to hear that you had met not nice Ukrainians, but there are much more nice Ukrainians. I hope one day in the future you will go to Ukraine and see how kind the people are. There are a lot of Ukrainians in LA and if you wish to join one day the Ukrainian protest you can see how people are.

    I love this video and I am very grateful that you explain everything so clear and understandable. I am a German living in Berlin, my mother’s family used to live in Ukraine (close to Lwiw) as so called Russia Germans. It is very saddening that Russia destroys the former „home country“ (please don’t get me wrong) of my family and we only have a slight (!) idea how you (Ukrainian people) are feeling right now. This war must end. Now. Sending you warm wishes. 🇺🇦

    No puedo como Mexicano, pensar siempre en nuestro vecino imperialista como causal de todos los grandes males del planeta, siempre existe una razón provocada por USA, que provoca una reacción en los otros paises imperialistas, piensas que hubo algo que detonó en Rusia ésta agresión súbita a Ucrania, provocada por algún movimiento de USA?, ya sabemos que la verdadera razón de cualquier guerra, son sus intereses económicos.
    As a Mexican, I cannot always think of our imperialist neighbor as the cause of all the great evils of the planet, there is always a reason caused by the USA, which provokes a reaction in the other imperialist countries, you think that there was something that triggered this sudden aggression in Russia to Ukraine, provoked by some movement of the USA? We already know that the real reason for any war is its economic interests.

    • @AndriiZhulidov
      @AndriiZhulidov  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I understand how it might look from far away. But mentioned that this is a "sudden aggression", I tried to explain in my video that this russian aggression and desire to "own" Ukraine was always the case. Considering that Russia already took Crimea and Eastern Ukraine, it kind was expected, but everybody still didn't believe that Russia can start a big war in Europe. US has nothing to do with this conflict and as you see, they don't even want to get involved. They supply us with weapons, but only with defensive weapons.

    • @AndriiZhulidov
      @AndriiZhulidov  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Of course it is stupid! We didn't want the war, we just wanted Russia to leave us alone and take care of it's own country, but Russia decided to destroying Ukraine and itself with this war.

    • @AndriiZhulidov
      @AndriiZhulidov  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@АлександрИванов-х4с4ъ It is much much more complicated than that unfortunately! They leave Kyiv because they have no success and a lot of casualties. Ukraine is counterattacking around Kyiv, Kharkiv and Sumy. Very hot right now is in Donbass area and on the South, Russians even said that they will focus on the southern part and taking all Donbass region. Even if let's say they move out of Ukraine to line of Feb 23rd, what about Donbass and Crimea? They will move out only to attack again in a year or two, remember Chechnya? Our victory has to be with the return of control of all our internationally recognised borders, Putin and top military has to hold responsible for war crimes and Russia has to pay repatriations for destroying infrastructure and killing civilians. This is why I don't big success in fact that Russian army is leaving Kyiv region.
