Tim is accomplished in all styles of banjo. He started in bluegrass with a group that include Allison Brown and Stuart Duncan. Nice to see a banjo taken to the limits.
Wow!!! Killer banjo video! Your production quality is superb! Sound, picture, editing, lights, all amazing! I've been doing video for a few years now, and EMG really sets the bar high, man...............
As a guitarist, I have been trying to branch out into different stringed instruments. At first, when I was 16, the Gibson Les Paul going into a Marshall stack was as far as I could see. Then cam the baritone guitar, then the acoustic, and so on. I found a bouzouki in a pawn shop once. Fell in love with that and now the banjo is my current focus. Oh, I still play everything else, but the banjo has a vibe that no simulator can copy. These pickups sound so good. I didn't know that they made em'!
this is sick he`s playing indian music with a banjo very different,he`s very progressive in his playing a range of stuff on the banjo and classical music

I love that he takes the banjo outside the comfort zone when it comes to playing. Its goes to show how versatile this instrument can be.
Kinda sounds like a Sitar... awesome!!!
I love his style and the note choices!

Does this pickup still work with Hide heads?
Yes it will. Not sure I'd want to tackle attaching it to one of my dowel stick Vegas, however.
