Oh my goodness. Steve you crack me up. Steph you and Steve are such an interesting couple. You seem so happy, loving, companionate and giving. I look forward to all your videos on both Chanel's. This may be interesting to you and others. My dad was born in the late 1920's into a poor southern farming family. You could call them the old fashioned homesteaders. He worked physically hard most of his life. Once he reached 65 or so he finally quit his full time job. He started going to yard sales, flea markets and estate sales. He and my mom worked hard buying and selling antiques and other things. He told me one day that if he had of known how much money he could have made buying and reselling items when he was younger he would have never worked so hard at a full time physically demanding job making money for someone else. He passed away in 2013 at the age of 86. So I do believe in what you guys are doing and I know you work hard at it. But, you seem to enjoy every bit of it. Thank you for being so inspiring.
Loved your story so much. It reminded me of my own father in a way. That finding of a vocation that makes work a joy. In the 70’s and 80’s and early 90’s, My Dad was an independent small business owner. He owned a tv/vcr repair and sales shop; he also sold kerosene heaters and accessories. He could build a television from scratch and was one of the very first VCR salespeople and repairman in the state of Delaware. As an only child I would spend every summer in that shop, as his helper. He paid me $20 a week for my work, but I would have done it for free, just to be there and to learn from him. I would be checking out customers, organizing and displaying merchandise, dusting everything, vacuuming, holding parts while he soldered them, watching VCR tapes that were for display play, doing the books with him, eating giant subs with my Dad at lunch. It was so much fun learning how to solder and how to replace picture tubes, and literally watching the world go bye from the front display window. He could also plant 30-40 ft giant tv antennas by himself. He was incredibly strong and incredibly kind. I loved watching him do everything and soaking it all in. Every Friday we sold our wares at Spence’s Bizarre in Dover, DE which is like a flea market but better. He was also a HAM radio builder and advanced license holder. We talked all over the world long before a thing called the internet ever existed. It was the greatest growing up like that. I learned so much from him not just about electronics, but about life. And took it with me into adulthood. Sadly, over time, his business lost its place in the world. With modern technology came the death of the tv repair man’s profession and way of life. He sold the business, and we both watched and cried when they tore down the building and paved it for a parking lot, then parked an ice cream stand on it. My father spent the rest of his working life as a lead machinist in a Playtex plant. He never complained, but he never again had the same joy in work as he did when we had the business. But the look he would get in his eye when we talked about the old shop was a look I’ve never forgotten. Longing and happiness, mixed with sadness and nostalgia. He died in 2014 from cancer at the age of 75. Not a day goes by that I don’t miss him and that I don’t apply something in my own life from all he taught me in his. Thank you for honoring us and your Dad with your story. I know he’s proud of you.

Rebecca Hopkins Rebecca I’m sitting here crying my eyes out reading your comment story bout your Dad. I think u were the luckiest person in the world, to have him so beautifully invested and interested in you, and so firmly and lovingly entrenched in your whole life for the period of your entire life. WOW. I wish u had a book out, like a diary,of your day to day with Dad and the things he taught u and the fun you had together. Must sign off, can’t see, blinded by tears. xox

Hello from Wisconsin. Great show. Even though you found a lot of broken things you were so upbeat! You inspire me to see the good even though it seems like the worst thing in life. Thank You!
I love how you find the humor in things! If you can’t find the mate for something or it’s broke, put them in a bag and sell them a bunch per bag because people use the beads, stones, for making jewelry.
Your explanations of how you work this way. I’m super impressed how great you explain and how honest you seem to be. I live vicariously through you since I am unable to do the stuff you do. Cancer and crap keeps me pretty much home bound. You can sell all the cosmetic jewelry to jewelry makers.
I have just discovered you guys recently- got to tell you how much I enjoy your videos so entertaining and you two make me wanna quit my job and start dumpster diving (after a Starbucks run of course) take care of each other (and Jerry) and keep up the great work!! Much love from Salem VA!

Congrats you guys. It’s crazy to see you jump from 3000 subs to 70,000 since I met you a year ago. I was a solo show, but my wife of 25 years is now inspired to do thrifting and videos with me after seeing how much fun you guys make it. Because you are just 100% authentic genuinely nice people is certainly the reason you have become so successful. Keep it up, we’re lovin these videos.
Omgosh!!! Watched this morning. My daughter and I went for our second try today after our first day yesterday. We found a $180 Scalectrix slot car racing set new in box, comforter and shams new in package from Target, another new with tags dog bed at PetSmart, an area rug (one small spot), bunch of Christmas fabric from Joann's, 3 POUNDS of costume jewelry from Michael's, balloons/party favors/hundreds of letter and number stickers from Party City. AMAZED!!! ❤️❤️🤔 Thank you so much for the inspiration.
I don’t remember how I found your video but I get a bunch of laughs on TH-cam . Steph is sweet and Steve is a riot. Thanks for your interesting scores and every time I see a dumpster , my thoughts go to you guys.
At first I thought Steve was trying to B-BOP...🤣😂🤣... but then y’all said it was lil Jerry making that noise .. I love 💕 watching y’all’s videos down here in Seabrook, Texas . Y’all are so cute and y’all make me laugh . And when Steve was putting on those sunglasses with only one Lenses , that had me laughing .. You see , I only have my two chihuahuas, a Shorkie (Shih-Tsu/Yorkie mix) and Zombie, a ferret to keep me company ..(Zombie, was my 25 year old daughter’s ferret and somehow I guess I ended up adopting him when she moved away) .. Anyway, I wanted to let y’all know , that y’all’s videos help keep my spirits up, y’all put a smile on my face and make me laugh ( something I seldom do anymore it seems ) and y’all take my mind off my constant loneliness and depression. SO during the times I am watching y’all’s videos, is when I finally can smile and laugh ... Ive watched them all, so at times, I will rewatch ones that I’ve already seen .. so thank you 🙏 both for helping me get through my struggles with life each day .
Prayers for your son Stephanie. And prayers for you to have the strength to face each day & what it brings to you. But these guys will keep you going with laughter & I love them to pieces
Always love watching you two! Really wanting to try buying a pallet or smalls when I can afford to try to make ends meet... on social security disability since I was 30 and that just doesn't cut it... Y'all brighten my day and I love JERRY!💕🐶💕EYL💕🐶💕
A friend of mine was a jeweller, and did markets, once a week, every Monday I'd sit for around to three hours untangling chains, my top tip is to undo the clasps, and use a pin or sewing needle to untangle fine chains and an abundance of patience, something my friend didn't have, hence me doing it,I got horrified that she'd just go and scrap it and snap them all, so the deal was that I got paid in coffee and lunch, good memories 😀
Thank you for this tip! I buy "junk chains" at estate auctions which are basically a jewelry box full of tangled up jewelry which is gold or silver and can be salvaged if one has the patience to do so, like Gina's friend however I do not posses such a gift lol. I hate to see beautiful art destroyed by scrapping it so they are all in my "boredom box" for a rainy day project. Now I'm going to go try these tips out on them, got any more ideas?
I'm the same Steph,I love fixing stuff,I make jewellery and Christmas tree decorations,I get so excited to see everything as my imagination gets sparked with ideas, you got some great stuff in those boxes,,I hope you keep that bosca wallet seven, that sort of quality for the cost isn't usually something you'd buy yourself but it's nice to have with a great picture of the grandchildren, your cards and cash in one place and it protects your cards
Thanks for the reply,,, I've done a bit of buying and selling in my past and whenever we got a lot for a decent price,we'd work out what we'd make back in profit,if there was something that I really liked,I'd keep a little something that I wouldn't go and buy myself or spend that amount on, especially selling genuine jewellery,it's like money in the bank too 😀
So sorry I missed this chat when you were live. I was into my mosaics. LOVED those big heavy earrings I would so use them in my art. I also enjoyed your cord fixing video. Actually I have spent my whole day with you while being creative. Much Love!!!
I just started watching you guys and I just love what you do!! I really want to buy pallets now!! My husband and I use to dumpster dive and now your making me want to start again. We are in Michigan. I'm your new fan 😜
Please feel free to stop by my channel and leave this kind of a comment any time. We NEED people like you on TH-cam! There is so much hate out there and do many meanies that this kind of support is practically non-existent. Seriously though stop by any time, I will even give you a shout out on an upcoming video.
Yes thank you. Today I’m good but most days I feel like I’ve been knocked down by the people around me and I don’t feel like I matter (I know I do, but damn you would shudder to hear the things I hear on the regular)
This is sweet and I agree smile at least once a day and u will feel good even if only for a second but that smile could light up the day of u and someone else so please just remember to smile.
I think you have found better items in the dumpster then those boxes! Haha : O XD But great fun watching and the wallet is worth it for Steve's butt cheek for many years of softness on his cheek!
Iv read post stating you have found better in the Dumpsters I would just like to say, are you kidding? You Guys turned every single item into pure Gold. You've turned my bad day into a good day and I thank you for that. Love you Guys ❤️
HAHAHA!!! I laughed really hard at some parts in this video and then I went out to get something to eat, said screw the rain and scoped out the CVS dumpster (it looks good but I didn't stop but I definitely will be going back)!!! I did stop by a residential/apartment dumpster that I've scored at before but this time I found three WAY cool, small vintage mid-century school desks and two hard plastic cat carriers!!! SCORE!!!! I've actually been LOOKING for a mid-century desk so if these do not sell I am not going to cry!!! LOL!!! I, also, need the cat carriers but might sell or donate one or both to my feral cat rescue friend!!! That ruled!!! LOL!!! Thank you for getting me back into doing this!!! Just one residential dumpster and a huge score!!! :D :)
Hi I'm from Malaysia. This is the 1st time I see dumpster diving and I luv it. Both of you are cute and great. These cat eyes are to make into bracelet.
Stephanie, some if those single earrings could be made into necklaces very easily all you need to get is some jump rings and plain chains and you have a whole other thing that you could sell without investing much money. Talk to some crafters and they can give you ideas of what you can just do while watching tv.
Those small card cases you found- the Tory and the other that were damaged-- the one you mentioned looked ok appears to be Burberry so you may want to look close at that one.
You can make a piece of art with the sunglass lenses. Get an old window or a framed art that has glass on it and you could super glue the glass lenses to the glass and make a stained glass window.
Put all the broken jewelry you don't want to fix in a big jar and sell the whole jar. Depending on how much you end up with, could probably get $20 for it.
Jay's Gadgets and More GOOD LORD WHAT A GREAT IDEA! I have a velvet pouch that I’ve been collecting AMAZING BEAUTIFULS and special little bits and bobs in, for over a decade: lovely pebbles, perfect shells, heart shaped gem stones, incredible sparklypretty thrift shop earrings that cost only 20 or 30c cos ones missing, even a tiny pewter wolf im gonna glue onto my dogs Memorial plaque. But anyway, so much broken or tangled or just too~hard stuff gets tossed along the way which makes me feel bad. BUT NO MORE! Thanx to your BRILLIANT IDEA, it’s all gonna be JAR~SAVED from now on!
Just found your videos love yas!!! Steph put all the odd earrings and jewellery you can't fix in a jar and sell them to a craft person to make stuff out of. You could make some good money!!! If I lived in the US I'd buy all odd jewellery charms etc from you!!
In the dumpster you find similar stuff for free way buy a mestry box still both are good heart love you both especially when give kids free things love your warm hearts 😘
this is the first time watching you guys and i love this. you have become a positive part in my life. I need this as i suffer from deep depresson and you help me laugh. I look forward to me time and watching your videos. be careful out there.
Carole Rice Hiya, thanks for choosing to be a part of this channel, if our silly videos offers you any kind of relief we are both humbled and happy 😊❤️❤️❤️
Hi Guys, You guys are great and make me laugh, I love it. Wanted to tell ya, if you put those tangled up chains in water they come untangled a lot easier. Just a FYI, Keep up the good work!
Thanks so much for the education. I think I will opt out of these types of orders. I agree with you guys its fun but tedious. I sincerely hope that you guys find gold you deserve it. MONCLER is a very upscale brand. I may have mispelled that.
Steph those little circles are called Jump Rings they have an open place to putt chains on and Split Rings are like the kind keys are held on You can buy them at Michael's, Hobby Lobby even Walmart sells them in the craft area
A ladies box! So funny. You guys always makes me laugh. I recognize those names. Jewelry is my guess. Shoes, scarves. Turn the earnings into purse charms
Oh my goodness. Steve you crack me up. Steph you and Steve are such an interesting couple. You seem so happy, loving, companionate and giving. I look forward to all your videos on both Chanel's. Hi Dianna, I would have enjoyed talking to your Dad.. it's never too late to start enjoying your life 🙂 Thanks for sharing your Dad's story 🙏❤

You deserve to be happy 🖤
Please feel free to stop by my channel and leave this kind of a comment any time. We NEED people like you on TH-cam! There is so much hate out there and do many meanies that this kind of support is practically non-existent. Seriously though stop by any time, I will even give you a shout out on an upcoming video.
Yes thank you. Today I’m good but most days I feel like I’ve been knocked down by the people around me and I don’t feel like I matter (I know I do, but damn you would shudder to hear the things I hear on the regular)
Margrét
Thank You for that. That was kind of needed.
This is sweet and I agree smile at least once a day and u will feel good even if only for a second but that smile could light up the day of u and someone else so please just remember to smile.
I just love your videos it's like christmas for me to watch them.and I have such fun
Aww Thank you Dee 🙏🙂❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
I hope Stefan has lots of time and inclination to do all the repairs!
You indulge him sooo much. True love. That's Why you are loved.

Great tip Terri.. Thanks 🙏 😎
Plus I occasionally rock the 80s by sweeping my hair to one side and wearing a single earring.
You're both so nice. Made my day to watch you. Thanks for all of the great info.
Thanks for watching 🙏❤️
"I can fix that". What a woman your Steph is. Hugs to all three of you.
She is Amazing Shirley ❤️ thanks for watching 🙏😃
I like the soft thing that looks like a blank. A kitty lunch box. wow
blanket
You guys are the cutest together! 🙂❤️💯thanks for another great video. Love your channels!
Steve you are so funny. Steph you are so sweet. You both make my day so much better.
Sprinkle talcum powder or corn starch on that tangled mess of earrings and use corsage pins or stick pins to untangle
!
Happy Mothers Day From West Virginia. I really watching you and Steven doing this. Very Intresting.
You got a bunch of trash Steve!!!Send Bigfoot shoes back!!! Lol too funny!!!
😂
Sage advice Steve....thankyou to you both.
Those small card cases you found- the Tory and the other that were damaged-- the one you mentioned looked ok appears to be Burberry so you may want to look close at that one.
Cool thanks for the heads up Stacy 😎
The "no hope diamond"...I can't stop laughing. Thanks for the stress buster.
😂
You need merch that says “I can fix that”
😂
That silicone bra insert is to make you look bigger with more cleavage then you really have lmao it’s false advertising
Hubby looks so serious but he is so funny and so are you . I just found you guys . I had to subscribe . Looking forward to more.
Thanks for choosing to be a part of this channel Portia we appreciate you 😊
the expensive bracelet that needs restrung with the heavy pretty beads look like tiger eyes.
You two are awesome, living the kind of life I always dreamed of
I bought my husband a similar feragamo belt for $600 at Nordstrom
I have been binge watching your channel and in several of your videos you have come across many unicorns. I find it fasinating. Love your channel
We do see our share of unicorns 🦄😊
This box was a dud , that’s just overpriced costume jewelry from Nordstrom’s.

You can make a piece of art with the sunglass lenses. Get an old window or a framed art that has glass on it and you could super glue the glass lenses to the glass and make a stained glass window.
That scarf thing is probably a pashmina
Thanks for the tip Gina 🙏❤️
24:03 - "Isn't this a unicorn horn?. . . . . . Is that a unicorn horn?" Hahahahahaha
😂
Definitely won’t be buying a salvage anything!
"These glasses aren't that bad" with one lens missing....LOL! I love watching you guys.
😂 👓
Nordstrom will accept any and all returns... no questions asked. So this box looks like these are all items that were returned.
And Costco, I remember seeing people return grills they have used for years and returned them because they stopped working, lol

You guys are such a breath of fresh air.
Thank you
Put all the broken jewelry you don't want to fix in a big jar and sell the whole jar. Depending on how much you end up with, could probably get $20 for it.
Great idea thanks 🙏
I love all the jewelry pieces. I make beaded and homemade jewelry. I would have fun going through and fixing and revamping all that jewelry.
That is what I was going to say! Sell on eBay as a crafters lot.
I may be showing my age, but I thought that steve looked good in those glasses you laughed at him in.
Hello Stephanie and Stefan puddy love you all God bless 🙌 ❤ 💖 ♥
Steph,a joke you will get I'm sure, my friend who is the jeweller used to say,if I had a great tube of glue I could double my stock,,😁

I can’t believe anyone actually is willing to pay for it ....
Sorry I missed you live. What a fun and wacky video today! I really enjoyed it!
ALL I CAN HEAR IS JERRY! Haha!😉🐶
I was wondering what all that sniffing noise was lol
Hi Guys, You guys are great and make me laugh, I love it. Wanted to tell ya, if you put those tangled up chains in water they come untangled a lot easier. Just a FYI, Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the cool tip 😊
Canada Goose mittens retail around 150-175
WOW 😮 Thanks for the info 🙏😎
Thanks so much for the education. I think I will opt out of these types of orders. I agree with you guys its fun but tedious. I sincerely hope that you guys find gold you deserve it. MONCLER is a very upscale brand. I may have mispelled that.
Relationship Goals^^
You're right, Steve. My son had a few of those ties. So easy and quick.
Quay sunglasses are about $60.

Steph those little circles are called Jump Rings they have an open place to putt chains on and Split Rings are like the kind keys are held on You can buy them at Michael's, Hobby Lobby even Walmart sells them in the craft area
Steph Auer I'm going through the same thing right now but I'm older. I pray that God makes your son get through this in Jesus name Amen.
All those jewelry-parts are perfect for crafters!!!👍
THANK-YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE STEVEN!!! AND STEPH I loved your No Sex comment about the glasses LOL LOL LOL LOL
A ladies box! So funny. You guys always makes me laugh. I recognize those names. Jewelry is my guess. Shoes, scarves. Turn the earnings into purse charms
You guys are too nice. I would be pissed. They send you all their crap and profited from it!
Love watching your videos and seeing your finds! My SIL has to wear ties all the time and he wears only zippered ties. You would never know either.
