There are no direct translations of "me comió la curva" but common expression would be "da ist mir die Straße ausgegangen", something like "I ran out of street". Always better to make fun after the adrenaline rush than picking up the bike or worse.
Lukas, KLIM jacket question. How do you keep the elastic collar tie backs attached to the tie back hooks on your jacket. Mine always pop off on my KLIM Latitude jacket.
In Costa Rica the saying is pretty similar, except that the pilot is the one eating the curve haha "Me comi la curva" (I ate the curve) or "Se comio la curva" (He/She ate the curve) or a little more pejorative "Se la comió" (He/She ate it). I think Code Brown fits perfectly too haha
Best episode so far, nice desert riding. Big fun watching you all. Want do go there too.
Colombia is such a beautiful and amazing country to discover on an adventure bike.

I'm definitely adopting "The curve ate me".

Don't lick the frog Lukas.

Cola y Pola mix POP and Beer, it is so good!
Drifted wide, stood up or just Blew the turn
Somebody definitely got a new toolkit. 😅
"Over cooking it"
Overshooting a corner maybe
By the looks of your GPS it looks like you’ll be riding the death road “Trampoline of death” between San Francisco and Maco. I did it in 2016.
Stay tuned for the next episode for TDLM.
I think our term for taking a corner too fast would just be "I came into that corner too hot". No?
Overshoot

How did you like the Dunlop Raids?
Overshooting a curve is “running out of talent”
When you come into a corner too hot, you blew the corner, or you overshot the corner
That looks caliente
